When Donny was terrorizing his base by insisting foreign countries were emptying their prisons of the worst of the worst and sending them to the US, he called it a “bad thing.” But now, he claims he’s rounding up the worst of the worst in the US and sending THEM to foreign countries. Suddenly, sending your worst to someone else isn’t bad anymore. Imagine how the countries receiving these planeloads must feel.

Fortunately for them, Donny is lying about his victims being the worst of the worst. Many of them are very fine people so their new host countries aren’t really in any increased danger…

I get that the whole kiss cam thing is fun and all, but that guy’s wife, soon to be ex-wife, is likely not having as much fun with it as the rest of us – and it just keeps getting shoved back in her face while the rest of us play. There’s a “tell.” A tell is a behavior that gives away the strength of a player’s hand in poker. The GOP KNOWS the things they’re doing are unpopular. They KNOW that if people could, people would retaliate at the ballot box. They KNOW they would be out on their ears. The tell? They’re planning to gerrymander Texas (and probably other states, as well) to protect control of Congress in a way they couldn’t manage on policy or popularity alone. They’re cheating.

I hope I don’t sound surprised. Cheating is the order of the day in MAGAmerica. It means that even THEY know they suck so they dare not leave it to democracy. This is why I shake my head when people talk about strategies for future “elections.” They’re telling us – to our faces – “Yeah, we’re going to go ahead and cheat, and there’s nothing you can do to stop us so, ha, ha,” and people STILL think maybe we can get ’em in the next election.

We’re not voting our way out of this one. The GOP is working overtime to make sure of it. That warning from JFK is just getting louder. “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, will make violent revolution inevitable.” Every day, the GOP is working to make peaceful revolution – a revolution at the ballot box – impossible…
