Pam Bondi is out. She was an incompetent so I can’t say I’m surprised. She was given clear directives to hide files that can’t be hidden and prosecute people who haven’t broken the law. She didn’t do very well at either. People still remember that Donald Dork was Jeffrey Epstein’s best friend and likely co-conspirator in a sex trafficking ring. Oh, maybe I should have said, “Spoiler Alert” for MAGA.
Pam didn’t take the firing well. Word is, there was something of a shouting match. She lost. For now, trump’s loyal toady Todd Blanche is going to run the department but rumor has it that, long term, Bondi will be replaced by an even LESS competent, LESS qualified person named Lee Zeldin. It’s rather amazing to me that no matter HOW incompetent the outgoing person was, these guys can always find a LESS competent person to take their place. With these guys, it’s like there IS no bottom of the barrel.
It seems Bondi messed up one time too many. She accidentally released to the House Judiciary Committee, led by Jaime Raskin, a report from a member of Jack Smith’s legal team that suggested 47 kept those confidential files he stole – remember those? – for financial reasons. That violated an order from Aileen “Loose” Cannon that no DOJ could ever release any of the documents related to Donny stealing government property.
Cannon has been relentlessly shameless in her dedication and loyalty to a man who knows nothing of dedication and loyalty. She bent over backward to protect him from himself and she had almost made it. But now, because the Bondi DOJ DID release a document from that case, Cannon is in a tough position. She has to initiate contempt proceedings against Donny’s corrupt DOJ or she might face impeachment herself for obvious bias. Worse, the whole ‘stolen government top secret document’ story is back in the news. Thanks, Pam.
I don’t much like old Pam and I’m glad to see her go but when you think about it, in fairness, she was incompetent at breaking – or at least bull-rushing – the law. She was bad at being bad. That’s not much of an indictment. She tried, though. She tried hard. That is quite the indictment. Now, I think, it’s time for her to lose her law license, having disgraced it so, so badly…

The whole point of this mission to the moon is to work out the kinks and shake out the bugs, but the toilet? I’d guess that’s one of the pieces they should have confirmed before someone had to… um… use it. I hear, in the end, it was a small issue, but for a moment, could you imagine being on a spaceship the size of a couple of minivans and not having a dependable place to poop for several days? Key word, “Depends,” I guess…

All of that damage he’s done to everything. And I mean, everything. MAGA voted for him… No, MAGA voted for him because they’re enthralled by him. It doesn’t matter what he actually does. It only matters what they choose to believe he does. But he convinced them he is a business genius and he had every intention of fixing America’s economy.
If that’s the measure of his success, he has been a horrifying nightmare by his own standard. In one year, ONE YEAR, Donny has added $2.25 TRILLION dollars to the National Debt. No, I’m not slamming the Drumpfster, at least not alone. He’s just the latest.
The current national debt stands at – are you ready for this? The current national debt – as of this writing because it’s growing faster than I can type – stands at $39.1 trillion dollars. That’s just a bit more than I have in my change jar. Since Reagan – and this includes Reagan and the raper’s first year (2025) – the national debt has gone up $34.5 trillion dollars.
When Reagan took office, the national debt was less than $1 trillion dollars. Reagan added $825 billion and was the first President to leave office with the national debt over a trillion. It has been trillion dollar leaps ever since. Now, here’s a key question: What was it, what happened during the Reagan administration, that might have launched such stratospheric debt?
If you guessed ‘Trickle Down’ or ‘Supply Side’ Economics, congratulations. You win! Don’t get too excited. You only “win” crushing debt. Trickle Down theory, most accurately dubbed “Voodoo Economics” by President George H.W. Bush suggested that if we didn’t ask rich people to pay taxes it would be better for everyone. It was just a scheme to financially starve the government in an effort to drown it in a bathtub.
But it sure has worked out well for them. It was MUCH better for them. It has been a steady, unstoppable erosion of life for the vast majority of Americans NOT in the One Percent. There can be no question, trickle down hasn’t worked, doesn’t work, will never work. Now… GET out there and pay your taxes, because the rich people sure as hell ain’t gonna pay theirs…

Meanwhile, Whiskey Pete removed a bunch of generals. Bondi is an incompetent so she’s out, the generals worked for an incompetent, so now they’re out. THEY have to go because they can’t win an unwinnable war. You see, Iran doesn’t have to win on the battlefield so long as they control the Strait of Hormuz. They’ve gotten away with a LOT through the years because of that fact. It was easy for them because everyone – everyone in the world – understood that fact.
I’d bet you a theoretical dollar that some of the generals that have been removed, maybe ALL of the generals being removed, mentioned that Iran doesn’t have to win on the battlefield so long as they control the Strait of Hormuz. We already know Dastardly Don started his stupid and illegal war against the best advice of the generals around him.
Now, because the weekend-talk-show-talking-head and the game-show-host were wrong about the war and the generals were right, the generals have to go. I mean, obs…

Because it didn’t work with their political philosophy, MAGA decided that experts don’t know anything and any fool can do the same job after a few minutes on the internet. Then, the experts kept being proven right and the fools kept highlighting their own foolishness. Does MAGA learn? Not if they can help it. They just go out, find a bigger fool, and try (and fail) again. It turns out, experts are experts for a reason and one cannot simply dismiss expertise. Expertise is earned…

“You know, we’re not supposed to be seduced that way, right? But I am. When someone’s nice to me, I love that person. Even if they’re bad people. I couldn’t care less. I’ll fight to the end for them.” A confession from Donald Trump at a private event he didn’t know was being recorded. That sounds like a person desperate for approval. It’s not really news. We already know he regularly hangs around with the scum of the Earth but now we know HE knows it, too. He just doesn’t care…
