A commercial came on during the Niner game. It took the position that Democrats hate America and are racists. One person – in silhouette, for drama – whined, “I can’t show my face because I’m white.” I really felt for her. I’m white, you see, so I can tell you, the struggle is real. White people only get most of the benefits of this once-great nation, not all of them. How is that fair?
The ad didn’t work in my mind. It came across as sour grapes. It felt more like, “Oh, you call us racists? We’re going to call YOU racists, see how you like it.” Well? It made me laugh. MAGA doesn’t like it when someone says their behavior is reminiscent of (exactly like) the Nazis. Rather than examine their Nazi behavior, though, they feel like whining should achieve the desired effect.
They’ve got the same thing going with racism. They’re cheering on a LOT of racist things and then bristle when someone says, “Hey, that’s racist.” But nobody is just lobbing charges without basis, like that ad attempts to do. Yes, I’m guessing one could find a racist or two in the Democratic party, but it’s not the left’s thing. By and large, far and away, racists find a welcoming home in the Republican party.
It should also be noted that it’s not the left that has been systematically attacking and destroying the Constitution for the last fifty years, all the while bitching and moaning about this aspect of America or that aspect of America they can’t stand. RIGHT NOW, even as you read this, conservatives across the land are working feverishly to destroy our Constitutional Republic and replace it with an authoritarian dictatorship and rule by the rich – and liberals hate America?
Truth be told, I couldn’t believe what I was watching. Someone actually spent money to make that drivel, then spent more money to air that drivel. The worst part? MAGA actually believes that drivel…

“He’s got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened up a Cheesecake Factory!” That was Barack Hussein Obama. (See? His middle name isn’t all that scary.) I think it’s a funny line. I think it’s funny because it’s true. Several conservative talking heads took issue with that comment. One conservative talking head called it “elitist garbage.” The charge, see, is that Obama has never been in a Cheesecake Factory.
Elitist?!? The word elitist can be defined as someone who believes in rule by an ‘elite’ group. Elitism looks FAR more like a guy trying to seize power for himself and on behalf of the One Percent to rule over the masses than a guy saying the Pervert President’s taste is all in his mouth. It’s not a charge that’s going to land.
In fact, they couldn’t really land anything. Insisting that was not a nice thing to say because you like the Cheesecake Factory really misses the point. Obama’s line was not a dig at the Cheesecake Factory. Do you really not understand that? (Of course you understand that.) He was making a dig at The Demented Dotard’s decor choices. In truth, 47’s changes look less like a Cheesecake Factory and more like a cheap whorehouse trying to look “real classy-like, you know?”
Scott Jennings of CNN said that Obama “Will always be known for a presidency that ushered in the Trump era to begin with.” Really? And tell me, Scott, what one specific thing do you think set the right on so determined a course? Thinking people continue to see that Obama’s skin color gave rise to the overt racism and hatred the left sees from the right every day. It’s not some big mystery and MAGA has nobody fooled.
Barack Obama was a better President on his worst day than trump is on his best. I suspect that’s a main hate point on the right. Well, that and the fact that the better President was not the whitest President. It turns out, Donald Trump is the DEI hire. I support hiring mentally disabled people and giving them a chance. I’m not sure putting one in the White House was a good move, though, and so far, ALL of the evidence supports me.
Jon Lovett, one time speech writer for Obama, said, “The decor is famously and purposefully over the top – that is part of the fun!” The thing is, the Pedo doesn’t see it as over-the-top. He thinks it looks just great. He’s proud of his gaudy changes. He shows them off to people. He brags about them.
Snowflakes. Snowflakes all. If you’re more upset Obama made a joke than you are trump has devastated the US economy, destroyed US standing in the world, betrayed our allies, brought diesel to over $9.00/gallon here in California, plundered the treasury to his own benefit, unleashed overt racism, protects criminals instead of victims, rapes children, murders boaters in the Caribbean, and plunged us into yet another unnecessary foreign war of choice, your priorities are screwed up. All this talk about how beautiful he finds this guy or that guy? That’s kind of new from 47. But I suspect it’s a deep truth he has kept buried for most of his life. I have long suspected his over-the-top bravado about being so successful with women was a kind of beard – overcompensation to combat secret feelings he didn’t want anybody else to know about.
I think gay would not have flown in the cruel and aggressive Drumpf family. It would be seen as weakness. So? He compensates. Perhaps it’s WHY he’s so aggressive with women. But now? Now dementia is setting in. He is losing his inhibitions as the process progresses. He’s FAR more likely to say what he thinks and he’s far LESS likely to be able to mask his true feelings.
That’s kind of sad, isn’t it? He never got to live his truth because it would have made him outcast in his own family. And the reason he finally DOES get to be the man he’s always wanted to be is because he’s losing his mind? Maybe his lifetime of self-denial is why he’s such a putrid human being to begin with…
