President War Criminal was blathering on about whatever it is he blathers on about when he mentioned that Venezuela’s President had been captured using a weapon he identified as a “Discombobulator.” Then he said, “The Discombobulator, I’m not allowed to talk about it.”

See why I think he’s a moron? That IS talking about it. And the ‘it’ in question doesn’t exist. A senior US official said the “president” (sic) may be conflating several capabilities into a single weapon that doesn’t exist. Even if such a weapon DID exist, I’d bet a lot of money the Pentagon would come up with a much better nomenclature than “Discombobulator.” That’s a truly stupid name coined by a truly stupid person…

I’ve said in the past that it will be Donny coming for people’s guns. Now, after the Alex Pretti murder, 47 posted on social media, “HE HAD A GUN, ONLY CRIMINALS CARRY GUNS ON OUR STREETS, WE NEED LAW AND ORDER.” “Only criminals carry guns on our streets?” Really? I thought open carry was everyone’s right – no, obligation – because only a good guy with a gun can stop a bad guy with a gun. I thought the goal was to arm every American in every situation so that morons could start blasting away at the slightest provocation.

How many times have YOU engaged in some form of this conversation, “Hey, maybe some gun regulation?”
“F*CK YOU! What part of ‘shall not be infringed’ don’t you understand?!?”
Now they’ve switched to “He had a gun, what do you expect from the agents?”

The right thinks the left is suddenly supporting the Second Amendment, even as the right abandons their dedication to it. In truth the left is, once again, mocking the right for their complete lack of principles. But there IS some truth to the fact that if Federal agents can kill you for having your gun in public, you don’t have the right to bear arms anyway, right?

I think the whiplash as MAGA changes it’s position from ‘shall not be infringed’ to “He had a gun, what do you expect?” is going to be painful for them. One can hope, anyway. Stupid really should hurt…

One shot… followed by approximately nine more. There was a delay. One shot… delay… then, Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Afterward, Pretti lay dead. My guess? The ICEholes thought they had a way cool trick. They shoot one shot, see, then they pause. Then they shoot lots of shots. Later, they lie. They say the first shot came from Pretti and the others came from ICE, in self-defense.

A clever ploy and a free path to murder – except for all of those damnable cameras! The cameras recorded the fact that Pretti had been disarmed before any shooting started. That didn’t stop Team Evil from claiming the killers were simply defending themselves. They’ve got to say something. They said that. They’ll stick to that story, no matter how many different camera angles appear, proving they’re lying…

People are fleeing the US dollar. Have you seen the prices of an ounce of gold or silver? Silver went over $100.00/oz for the first time. Gold tops $5,000.00/oz for the first time. Investors have mostly lost faith in the US dollar. They’re looking for safer places to put their money and hard currencies are a common safe harbor. We might need to start thinking in terms of wheelbarrows full of money to buy a loaf of bread. Nice job, MAGA. We told you your moron didn’t have a clue…

That’s polite talk for “The writer of this post is stupid and lying.” The social media post in question? Why, that came from the stupidest man on Earth. It read, “WHATEVER HAPPENED TO GLOBAL WARMING???”

He’s referencing the winter storm that is blasting across the eastern part of the United States. He STILL thinks that if it snows, it disproves global warming. This has been explained over and over and over again. Weather is local and short term, climate is global and long term. It turns out, global warming is real and winter still happens anyway. If there’s still a MAGA out there that doesn’t understand that – and apparently, there’s at least that one – that person either stubbornly doesn’t WANT to understand what’s happening, or they’re suffering from a severe learning deficit that leaves them unable to comprehend even the most basic stuff.

There’s no other position possible at this point. The person asking that question – “WHATEVER HAPPENED TO GLOBAL WARMING???” – is either genuinely, amazingly stupid, or pretending to be. In his case? The evidence points to genuinely, amazingly stupid…

Well, I’m getting exactly the Super Bowl I didn’t want: the cheatin’-ass Patriots vs the Seattle Seahawks. If the Broncos hadn’t lost their their starting Quarterback the week before, they might have prevailed. But they did, so they didn’t. The Rams gave the Seahawks a better game than I expected, too. For a moment, it looked like they might pull it out. For a moment. They didn’t.

I have to confess, we are getting the Super Bowl I expected. I was pulling for the teams that lost this weekend. I didn’t get either one of them. So, now, I think I’m pulling for a tie in the Super Bowl. Yeah, I know, no ties in the big game. I guess I’ll be disappointed. Then again, I’m already disappointed so I guess I’ll be disappointed, no matter what. Might as well root for the impossible.

I guess most fans of the NFC West won’t pull for Seattle. Personally, I can’t support the cheatinest team in NFL history, the cheatin’-ass New England Patriots. No, I don’t think they cheated this year. I just get sick of listening to how “great” they were when they weren’t great – they were cheating. The Stupid Bowl is going to be chock full of “looks back” at their “great” years. It turns out, I’m not good at replacing actual events with preferred narratives, whether that’s in the arena of politics or sports.

The last coach of the Pats, Bill Belichick, has no coaching tree because he never had anything to teach other coaches. The only remnant of his “legacy” is Mike Vrable, the current coach of the Patriots. He wasn’t a coach under Belichick. He was a player. Vrable has a chance to be the first guy in NFL history to “win” a Super Bowl as a player, then as Head Coach for the same team.

I’ve been a football fan far too long to pretend I won’t have the game on. I will. I’m not sure I’ll be paying all that much attention to it, though. The outcome will be the outcome but neither possibility excites me. One team wins, one team loses. I’m disappointed either way…
