Trying to Buy The Election…

What do you suppose Evil Musk is hoping to buy with his $446 million dollar “investment” into various Republican candidates? (You might want to remember that number for the next time you hear some con blowhard bitching about George Soros. Soros and Michael Bloomberg, combined, gave roughly $186.2 million…) After spending the last two years watching rampant corruption from politicians and policies that seem to benefit only the One Percent, and rich corporations gouging every penny they can out of your pockets, Musk likes what he sees. Musk benefits from the status quo.

Thanks to horrific rulings of the Way High Supremely Corrupt Court led by Cheat Justice John Roberts, Musk has put enough money into this campaign (so far) to fund a half dozen SpaceX rocket launches or buy thousands of his death-trap Cybertrucks – or a handful of well-placed politicians. Musk’s life is not my life nor yours. I’m pretty sure that what’s good for Musk is bad for me AND you.

After watching the abuses of those with vast fortunes, I’ve become quite clear that no person should have the wealth and/or power to buy an election despite the best efforts and intentions of the masses. Unregulated, so-called “free market” capitalism is literally on the verge of destroying our Democratic Republic…

So, there’s yet another one. Trump is the ultimate loser, isn’t he? He lost again. He sued the Wall Street Journal because the Journal published his “card” to his best friend Jeffrey Epstein. You remember. He drew an outline of a young girl, then wrote sexually suggestive things inside and signed his name where her pubic hair will be when it grows in. Funny stuff, if you’re a pedophile.

Trump thought it would make him look bad if people thought that was real, so he declared it fake and sued the Journal for publishing it. Turns out, he was unable to support his lawsuit because the drawing IS real. And of COURSE the drawing is real. Trump is a pervert who regularly hangs around perverts. (No. Save it. I’m not saying EVERY person he associates with is a pervert.)

The judge has dismissed his case with prejudice. Sure, he can appeal this turkey, but he can never file it or amend it again. He lied, then tried to punish people for saying he lied. Donald Trump is a pervert and he can sue me for saying he’s a pervert, but the first thing I’m asking for in discovery is a deposition because he’s ALSO a coward and WILL NOT sit for depositions. He can’t. He’s a liar…

Well, the election is upon us. In Michigan, a DINO (Democrat in name only) who ran against El-Sayed and lost in the primary, Haley Stevens, showed her pique by endorsing the Republican in the race. After her endorsement of Republican Mike Rogers, The Dumbass invited her to join the Republican party. She should do it. I would hope the Democratic party would never support her again for anything after such a betrayal and the Republican party is the party of traitors and backstabbers anyway, so she’d fit right in. Don’t let the door hit you, Haley…

I’ve already cast my ballot. I heard an election expert on the radio say that many Californians use mail-in ballots and hand-deliver them. Good. But she ALSO said that, for some reason, many Californians fill out their ballots, and then hang onto them until election day. Why the hell would anybody do that? There must be a reason. I just don’t see it. I get mine done and get it back. That leaves me time to “cure” any problems should something come up. It’s too late for all of that anyway, at this point. I just think it’s weird to hang on to them.

One reason, though, might be that one is vexed by some proposition or candidate. Take Proposition 40. I’ve spoken to people who don’t so much oppose Prop 40 as fear the unintended consequences. They support a wealth tax. Anybody not walking about in a zombie-like delusional state supports taxing the very rich more. They just prefer a national tax so there’s no place for the greedy rich to run to.

The fear is that the richest rich people will pull up stakes and flee to some other state. I’ve confessed the same concern in these pages, so I definitely get it. But the best evidence shows they don’t actually DO that. They threaten. They just don’t go. Mostly. Any that do? Well, they have to live in some other state. Ha, ha! (I don’t actually have anything against any other states. I’ve lived in some. But your climate doesn’t match California’s climate. Period.)

Prop 40 is currently leading in the polls but not by a landslide margin. It’ll be close. I voted for it. (Don’t tell anybody. It’s a secret ballot.) The thing about Prop 40 is not this election. The richest rich people are afraid Prop 40 might open the door to future, similar actions. They haven’t been paying their fair share for going on fifty years and they don’t want to start now.

It’s hard to blame them. People often don’t like giving up some benefit, even when they know the benefit they receive is unfair. But their failure to pay starves the government of much-needed resources and, I’m going to say this out loud, allows them to keep too much money – enough to buy and corrupt our government. That’s not speculation. Just look at our corrupted, bought-and-paid-for government. They’re not doing anything for you, but they do a LOT for the richest rich people and I’m pretty much over it. It’s time for the One Percent to participate…

Bill Maher has a thing he does after his show. It’s called ‘Overtime.’ I’ve given up on Maher as he has moved further and further right, but I tuned in to an Overtime for old time sake. I heard Ted Cruz say that when James Talarico was asked about what he loves besides family and friends he said, “I love trans kids.” Maher looked at Cruz, surprised, and Cruz said, “He said it. You can look it up!”

I was sitting at a computer that supports multiple tabs. Cruz said I could look it up. So, I did. Guess what? That’s not what Talarico said! Talarico was saying he loves the bravery of the trans kids who came to the Capitol city to demand their rights. He loved their bravery. Cruz is a liar…

So this is it. I’m consumed with, well, it’s not excitement so much as fearful anticipation. The next time I publish, we’ll either have a chance at saving our Constitutional Republic, or the Republicans will have successfully cheated their way back to power and the nation will be doomed. It’s going to be a hell of a fight. We all know the Democrats and progressives are coming out in force and there are FAR more of us than MAGA. Democrats will win the election. But the election is only the opening move to these clowns.

They will NOT accept their defeat in grace and concede. They’ll cry, whine, bitch, and moan about how they were cheated. That idiot infesting the Oval Office actually filed a lawsuit in Alaska claiming that if HIS candidate doesn’t win, the election shouldn’t count. The case was dismissed but that’s still his attitude. Republicans win, or it’s cheating.

They’ll have every claim in the book. We’ve all been watching as this thing approaches and we’ve SEEN the Republicans doing everything they can to rig the election in their favor. They’re going to do more. But it won’t matter how much cheating the Republicans actually do. They’ll just keep shouting about the Democrats, who don’t even need to cheat.

The biggest threat, now, is chicanery regarding seating the incoming Democrats. There can be no doubt the Republicans won’t want to seat winning Dems, and will do everything in their power to keep from doing that. Hopefully, the Dems are ready for that. It’s a complex scenario. It will take court battles and time to straighten it all out.

But the first step is voting. Get out there. Cast your ballot. Let’s bring a Blue Tsunami so there can be no question. (There will be anyway. Cons can always pretend ignorance.) I honestly believe, if we don’t stop this right now, with this election, we’ll never get the chance again. And remember, they’ve only completed 55% of Project 2025. As a nation, we literally cannot afford for Republicans to win…
