To hear them tell it, Republicans sure would like to know who passed that damned Big Beautiful Bill. None of them seem to know what was in it and the more they find out, the less they like. None of them seem to have read it. None of them seem to know who added what, and NONE of them seem to know why they voted for it. It’s all just a mystery…

Despite the way people from south of our border are being treated – that is, VERY badly – when GOP-induced disaster hit Texas in the form of floods, Mexico sent rescuers to help. They’ve set aside the terrible, inhuman treatment and sent help. Generally speaking, Mexicans seem to be better people than MAGA. No wonder MAGA hates them so much.

Meanwhile, Team Evil sent help, too – the very next three days later! Kristi Noem had to sign off on the expense as it was expected to exceed the allotted $100,000 and she wasn’t to be bothered during her three-day weekend. Once she DID sign off, though, FEMA – or what’s left of it – sprang into action the best he could…

Grok. What a crock. Grok is Elon’s AI. Apparently, in the billionaire set, you’re nothing if you don’t have your own AI. In Elon’s case, he’s nothing anyway, but he has his own AI. He said he wanted his to be free of all that woke nonsense so he had the programming altered to take out any reference to DEIA and other woke silliness. The result? Nazi/MAGA!

Grok told one user how to break into someone else’s home. Grok explained how to rape a woman. Grok started calling itself MechaHitler and spewing anti-Semitic tropes. It calls for harsh, over the top punishments for small infractions. It became, in essence, a Nazi. It was a rather perfect, accidental experiment. We get to see how AI responds to a lack of empathy: Nazi.

Interestingly, we’ve seen how MAGA responds to a lack of empathy as well, empathy having been removed from MAGA thinking by decades of MAGA media conditioning. Nazi! Or the next best, um, worst, thing – MAGA! MAGA doesn’t like being compared to the Nazis and I don’t blame them but if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck and Sieg Heils like a fucking duck, it’s very clearly a Nazi duck.

Dear MAGA, if you don’t want to be compared to Nazis, stop acting like Nazis. It’s pretty simple, really…

To tell you the truth, I feel kind of badly for MAGA when it comes to the Epstein files. They’re STILL going to defend him, obviously. But now? Now they know – they KNOW – they’re very likely defending a pedophile. No, they won’t say so to you, but they know it.

They’ve defended his lying mouth, speaking blasphemies. They’ve defended him as a convicted felon. They’ve defended him as an adjudicated rapist. They’ve defended him as an overt racist, and now? NOW they get to defend him as a pedo. He sure does make it hard for them to love him. Somehow, though, like any abused spouse, I suspect they’ll manage…

Little, evil weasels, intent on “getting even” with their high school bullies by attacking people who had nothing to do with it.

Anyway, MAGA is SO PROUD of their Alligator Alcatraz, a place where they can punish and torture people who haven’t done anything wrong, but were born the wrong color. I’m SURE I’ve heard about that before, in history. It just seems so… familiar to me. Where have I heard of that before, throwing human beings into prison camps based on their ethnicity with no access to lawyers or due process? Give me a minute. It’ll come to me.

DING! Round 2. Elon and Donny are back at each other’s throats. It’s kind of funny. Elon doesn’t like the Big Boneheaded Bill any more than anybody else. He’s losing a mandate that forces everyone to buy electric cars. From what I hear, he has some kind of interest in electric cars.

When the bro-spat first erupted, Elon ended up declaring that Donny is in the Epstein files. Then he realized he had gone too far and backed down. 47 doesn’t strike me as the ‘live and let live’ type. He seems more like the ‘wait until he’s not looking and then strike from behind’ type. But it had looked like things were going to calm down, a serious hit to all the popcorn I had laid in for the ‘Boneheaded Bros Battle Royale.’

Then the wasteful spending bill that does so much harm to so many moved through Congress even as Congress critters came out talking about how much they hated it and what a bad bill it is and what terrible, terrible human beings they are. I may have added that last one. They know it, they just don’t say it out loud.

As the thing was “mysteriously,” but successfully, moved through Congress by the GOP, and ONLY the GOP, even though GOP members couldn’t stand it, Elon came alive again and issued a warning that he would remove any Congress critter who voted for the Bill. He said he was going to start a new political party.

The evil and destructive bill is now an evil and destructive law and Elon declared he IS starting a new party, ‘The America Party.’ He says he wants to challenge the Democrat and Republican ‘Uniparty.’ If it’s anything like his cars or his rockets, I expect fire.

But Donny has suggested he might deport Musk. He also pointed out that maybe Musk’s old team of destruction, DOGE, should take a look at Musk’s contracts and subsidies. It’s curious, isn’t it, that they failed to do so the first time through?

Long term, I expect The First Felon to win this. Elon has lots of money but 47 has the power and rapidly squandering resources of the US government. But at least all of that popcorn isn’t going to waste…

“I want my vote back.” That’s a quote from a one-time supporter of Team Evil, a dude named Francisco Olivera. He’s a US citizen (condolences) but his wife is not. She’s Canadian. She was trying to get a Green Card. She was taken into custody by ICE AT a Green Card interview. She was in the country illegally, generally a civil violation BUT, she had been removed once and came back. Apparently, that’s a felony. Maybe she gets to be President now?

No, she’s being deported. For clarity, she had been navigating the system and had received permission to stay in the US pending her processing, so she had legal status at the time she was taken into custody, and there is no record of any other crimes. She and her Drumpfster supporting husband are really surprised and bummed out.

The woman, Cynthia Olivera, said from the detention facility while fighting back tears, “The only crime I committed is to love this country and to work hard and to provide for my kids.” Nope. You aligned yourself with Team Evil, a far worse crime…

I thought President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho was just a fictional character from the movie ‘Idiocracy,’ but he might as well be our current leader, the same quality of “person,” who wants to hold a UFC fight on the grounds of the White House. Maybe the Lincoln bedroom?

Donny is just boorish enough to do it, too. UFC fights at the White House? Next thing you know, he’s going to want to water crops with ‘Brawndo,’ because it has what plants crave. It has electrolytes! The Drumpfster is just an embarrassment…

If you haven’t seen ‘Idiocracy,’ you should. It borders on the absurd but it’s mildly amusing. The guy who made it, Mike Judge, said he thought he was making a silly little comedy. He didn’t realize he was making a documentary, but he did. It highlights exactly what stupid and embarrassing looks like. Pretty much the only part Judge got wrong? The President’s name…

Every Day, A Little Worse…

Well, it looks like 47 is getting the violence he wants down in LA. ICE agents, carefully masked because they’re so proud of the work they’re doing, started raiding businesses in LA looking for brown people to harass. Citizens started pushing back. At first, it was just a bunch of people shouting unkind thing to the agents, while the agents desperately hid behind their face coverings. People got in the agent’s way, slowed them down.

Because these “agents” may or may not be actual ICE agents, they started pushing back. But violence is the only “tool” they have. One good pepper spray and “less than lethal” method led to another and now the situation is charged and tense – exactly what 47 wants. He’s even calling it an insurrection. I suppose, according to the definition, it IS. But this looks to me, like the tree of liberty needing a little blood of patriots – true patriots, not MAGA, the rabble claiming “patriotism” while decrying every single aspect of the United States.

The people pushing back in LA are pushing back because they want the process to follow the law and the Constitution. These are NOT a bunch of whipped up morons attacking the Capitol building in an effort to thwart the law and interfere with the Constitution, like 47’s J6 MAGA did. I’d say standing up to improper authority is an insurrection worth having, if that’s the way the regime wants it. And, clearly, that’s the way the regime wants it.

Meanwhile, conservative media is focused on the fact that some of the protestors have burned the flag, a common gesture of disapproval when one’s government is engaged in unpopular and/or criminal behavior. That will certainly keep MAGA whipped up against the left.

I understand the protestor’s fury. Still, I suspect they might be falling for a trap, and it’s a very old trap indeed. “When it gets down to having to use violence, then you are playing the system’s game. The establishment will irritate you – pull your beard, flick your face – to make you fight. Because once they’ve got you violent, then they know how to handle you. The only thing they don’t know how to handle is non-violence and humor.” – John Lennon

As a sidebar, apparently, there’s one more lesson the developers of self-driving cars need to teach their vehicles – stay away from protests. People know better than to drive around near protests. They take other routes. Apparently, Waymo cars do NOT know to avoid protests – and three of them have been destroyed by protestors. I don’t approve of that, by the way. The cars didn’t do anything. Neither did the company.

I think valid protestors should unmask violent “protestors” and dox them. I suspect the violent protestors are agent provocateurs, bad guys pretending to be good guys but doing bad things in an effort to smear the good guys. Either way, this could be the opening 47 needs to deploy troops all over the US so, welcome to the police state. Having an armed soldier on every street corner sure looks like “freedumb” to me…

In the Elump cat fight, did Elon say he was going to back Democrats? I heard him say he would work against any sitting politician that voted in favor of 47’s Big Barfy Bill but I didn’t hear him say he would back Democrats. Supporting an alternative Republican is an option, too, right?

But Donny is upset Elon might back Democrats. I guess, of all people, he SHOULD be upset. He knows better than most exactly how effective Elon and his team can be when it comes to manipulating the outcome of elections…

Look, I know that in the bigger scheme of things, this is a nothing-burger, at least to me. I just think it’s funny. Evil Stephen Miller, a chief architect of Team Evil is married to a woman named Katie, and Katie works for Elon Musk. When Elon was driven out of town, he took Katie with him! No word, yet, on how Evil Stephen will respond.

Elon is trying to have enough children to field two opposing baseball teams – maybe even with a few subs in there, as well. He pays women to carry, deliver, and care for babies he fathers and, apparently, he pays well. Katie might want some of those millions for herself. I’m looking forward to the announcement that Katie Miller is carrying Elon Musk’s next baby…

When Biden stumbled climbing a flight of steps up to an airplane, 47 pretended that it happened because Biden was so old. We saw the video over and over. On the left, it was a good laugh. On the right, it was “proof” of Biden’s incompetence.

I guess he’ll be claiming HIS stumble is a sign of “greatness” but I suspect it’s because HE’S so old, too. Now let’s put Donny’s stumble on a loop and watch it over and over, as though it proves something. No, on second thought, let’s not. I don’t want to have to look at him that much…

The Southern Baptists are having a convention, trying to lay out a framework of things to oppose. They’re opposed to porn, which is not surprising. They’re opposed to sports betting, which I actually agree with. They’re opposed to same-sex marriage, which I definitely disagree with, and they’re opposed to “willful childlessness.”

Willful childlessness? In this day and age, in this once-great, now failing nation, in this darkening nightmare of a reality, NOT having children is the responsible choice. Children need to be fed and clothed. They need education and health care. They need a stable environment. ALL of those things are becoming increasingly challenging to manage under the current regime and the superstitions of the Southern Baptists won’t change any of that…

And In THIS Corner…

Oh, rats, did I miss it? Thursday, a feud erupted between 47 and Musk. It was inevitable. These are two of the softest walking egos I’ve ever seen in my life. Each man thinks HE and he, alone, is God and the other is a pretender. Since the beginning, this has been the most predictable spat in the history of predictable spats.

It was never a matter of “if,” only “when.” I noticed that Steve Bannon is out there trying to take credit for brilliant insight, claiming he and he, alone, had predicted the inevitable breakup that everybody on the planet knew was sure to happen. Sure, Steve. Thanks for that. Now go away. Bannon also suggested deporting Musk. That’s an idea I can get behind.

As nearly as I can piece this together, Musk started being a problem for the regime. He was getting into spats with various secretaries and, really, he and his DOGE team made lots and lots of mistakes. It got to the point where he was asked to leave. He did, but he didn’t go quietly. He decided to publicly denounce 47’s pet project, his “Big, Barfy Bill” that will do so much damage to so many Americans – and MAGA, too.

He even threatened to use his vast resources to remove any Republican who voted for the bloated thing. The threat seems real as he also exposed the fact that they wouldn’t be there without his help. Had he not messed with the tabulators in the “election,” according to him, 47 wouldn’t be President and the GOP would not control Congress.

Donny, obviously, took the criticism in stride and expressed his deep belief in the First Amendment and Musk’s right to his opinion. Ha, ha, just kidding! He actually threatened to cancel contracts and subsidies to Musk’s various companies – pointing out that doing so would save “billions and billions” of dollars – sending Tesla stock into yet another tailspin.

Musk, ever the gentlemen, responded by claiming the reason the Epstein files haven’t been released is because the name ‘Trump’ is everywhere in them. As if the world didn’t already know that. Donny and Epstein were very close friends for something like 15 years. Of COURSE Donny’s name is all over those files. He would absolutely release them if he wasn’t in them.

So this was shaping up to be a wonderful spectator event and I ordered more popcorn. But then I woke up on Friday morning and Musk had offered an olive branch. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the downturn in fortunes of Musk’s companies. When Donny said he would cut the contracts, Musk replied with “bring it on” but the stocks headed down because everybody knows the companies depend on those government contracts for their existence.

Whatever it was, Musk said he would stand down and wanted to talk to 47 on Friday to patch things up. NOW what am I going to do with all of this popcorn? Hold the phone. Donny said no. Someone asked him if he would talk with Musk and 47 replied, “You mean the man who has lost his mind?” He added that he was “not particularly” interested in talking to him right now.

Donny’s skin is the thinnest in the history of skin and the Epstein comment really WAS a low blow. Musk put 47 in a very difficult position. Now he has no choice but to release the files to prove he’s not in them – his word alone carries NO weight – but he can’t release the files because his name is all over them. That’s not the kind of bind one can just apologize their way out of. “I’m sorry I exposed you as a pedophile,” just doesn’t get it done.

So on Friday, the White House trotted out Epstein’s lawyer to verify that Epstein had no dirt on Donny. He knows, he says, because he asked. Um, so what? I don’t know this guy. Maybe he’ll say whatever someone wants him to say – or pays him to say, who knows? Hell, maybe Epstein DID tell his lawyer that. Maybe Epstein lied. It happens, you know. Virtually the ONLY way 47 can prove he’s NOT in those files is to release the files unredacted. He’s not going to do that, which, of course, should tell you a lot. And now Elon dragged it out again. No, there will be no forgiving that.

The GOP Congress critters took turns coming out to support The Felon in the exchange. Musk threatened to support primary challengers against sitting critters if they support this nightmare bill but MAGA is convinced that Donnie’s words of support go further than Musk’s money, despite the fact that Musk’s money is what just gave them the control they have. I think Musk should stop with the public spat but make sure each Congress critter knows he intends to follow through with his plan.

So by Saturday, it looks like Musk lost. Still, I expect that Musk is about to find out what actual, deep, true pettiness looks like. Just stopping isn’t enough. It was noted that, as of Friday, the SwastiKar Donny bought from Musk is still sitting out there in the White House lot but I’m guessing that car will be gone before too much longer. Musk has to come out and publicly kiss the ring and do as he’s told or he’ll be in 47’s sights from now on – and may be anyway.

I don’t know what I was hoping for but it turned out to be a bit anticlimactic. A charge here, a threat there, a loss of $150 billion dollars in market cap and, boom, it’s over. It was fun but it was short. Too short. I’ve still got all of this popcorn left…

AGAIN? Yet ANOTHER moron attacking Jews in the US in “protest” of the Israeli government WAY over there, in Israel? Does the idiot who attacked THIS time think the people he injured and killed had some kind of direct line to Netanyahu and were calling in and supporting his actions? Maybe, secretly, Jews in the US were laying out the war plans and telling Netanyahu what do to?

Do you know what I’ve seen? I’ve seen Jews out there with other protestors, standing against the actions of Israel in Gaza. It turns out, morality, not politics or religious affiliation, dictates which side a person stands on over this damned little war and plenty of Jews see the actions of the Israeli government as wrong, immoral, and indefensible. Hell, the attacker may have attacked and killed allies in his goal of stopping the killing in Gaza. What a dumbass…

Captain McCain vs Cadet Bone Spurs…

This, increasingly, seems to be how our military feels about their cowardly Commander-in-Chief. He wants a military parade. He pretends to honor soldiers but privately calls them ‘suckers’ and ‘losers.’ He had a chance for military glory. Instead, he got a letter that said he had “temporary bone spurs.” That was AFTER four college deferments.

47’s daddy was landlord to a podiatrist, Larry Braunstein, who, according to his family, wrote the bone spur “diagnosis” as a “favor.” The scheme involved a second podiatrist, Manny Weinstein, who also leased space from Fred Trump. Meanwhile, 47 competed in sports in the school he was hiding in. He says he was “the best,” but when does he ever say anything else? From MY point of view, the only thing he’s ever been “the best” at is evading responsibility.

I think somewhere in the dimmest recesses of is puny little mind, he KNOWS he doesn’t measure up to the soldiers who answered their country’s call. Because he’s such a shallow person, he seems to actually resent the military. He couldn’t stand John McCain, for example. He said McCain was NOT a war hero because he got shot down. McCain DID get shot down, too. He was taken to an infamous POW camp called the Hanoi Hilton. It turns out, though, McCain was well connected back in the states and, as a result, was offered the opportunity to skip all that POW ugliness and just come back to the US. He said, “No.” He stayed with his comrades. That segment of his life cost him the use of an arm for the rest of his life. I didn’t agree with his politics, but McCain was a proud and brave man – a war hero, the likes of which Donny couldn’t even conceive. (Can you imagine 47 making a selfless decision about, well, anything, really?)

So Donny didn’t think much of McCain and McCain didn’t think much of Donny, either. The difference was, McCain had the credibility of action Donny could never gain. During an interview, McCain said, “One aspect of the conflict, by the way, that I will never ever countenance is that we drafted the lowest-income level of America, and the highest-income level found a doctor that would say that they had a bone spur. That is wrong. That is wrong. If we are going to ask every American to serve, every American should serve.”

So military members have a fun little put-down of the orange man. “One had bone spurs.” As always with 47, words are just words and Lord knows he talks. But his actions give him away, and, in action, he ran and hid…

The military isn’t alone. Wall street has taken to referring to 47 as ‘Taco.’ That’s an acronym. It stands for ‘Trump Always Chickens Out.’ The reference is to 47’s oh-so-stupid tariffs that do so much damage each time they’re announced. Then revoked. Trump has turned the United States into a laughing stock, an ongoing joke.

It’s rather heartening to see that the joke is on him. Taco Trump. Cadet Bone Spurs. People whose respect he craves are, instead, showing him the respect he deserves…

“Trump is not corrupt because he commits HIS crimes in plain sight.” REALLY?!? That’s the line from the GOP in defense of their corrupt idol. This guy is grifting and grafting on a daily basis. I presume he’s trying to hide some of it but there’s just mountains of it he’s doing right out in the open, with no concern for what people might think.

This is the direct result of the Robert’s Kangaroo Court saying the POTUS has near-perfect immunity, coupled with a corrupt Congress who still could, but will not take action to stop him. Instead, they offer up defenses like that. It’s not corruption because it’s in plain sight.

The only reason MAGA hasn’t turned on him, yet, is because MAGA media is still misinforming them and they still believe it. But it’s GOT to be getting harder and harder to defend him and his actions. It’s GOT to be getting harder for MAGA to convince themselves that Donny has anything in mind other than taking everything he can from them and stuffing it into his own pockets.

I’ll tell you this: the fact that he commits crime in plain sight doesn’t make them any less criminal. I see it. You see it. Sooner or later, MAGA is bound to see it…

But Musk accepts your taxpayer money at an amazing rate – billions of dollars. His rockets keep blowing up or tumbling into the ocean (and, sometimes, populated land!)

There are millions of people in this country who couldn’t be where they are without government assistance – something of an indictment of Capitalism, if you ask me. Government money intended to help the needy is being canceled as too expensive while government money given to make rich people richer just keeps flowing. Welcome to the Upside Down…

Defenders of Israel went into this whole thing with the moral high ground. Hamas HAD attacked Israel. I can’t say it was “unprovoked,” but it was certainly not smart. When Israel “responded” to that attack, much of the world understood. 1,200 people had to be avenged.

Slowly, at first, then faster, Israel has surrendered the moral high ground. Okay, 1,200 for 1,200, sure. But then, Israel didn’t stop. 120,000 for 1,200? Is that where we’re going? Anybody paying attention has seen Israel tell refugees to go to such and such a location for “safety,” only to have Israel bomb and attack that exact spot.

I think that when Hamas launched rockets into civilian areas of Israel, they committed a war crime. But Israel has been committing war crimes ever since. I think it’s time for the world to intervene. Enough is enough – and Israel has inflicted MORE than enough…

The Immorality of the Regime…

Is THIS what MAGA wanted? Is this what MAGA had in mind? A government that is SO cruel, it will attack it’s own citizens for asking questions? This… distortion of humanity currently destroying our nation deported a man, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, to a maximum security prison with no charges, no trial, no chance to defend himself AND, not coincidentally, no chance for anybody to question the regime’s actions, either. The deportation was illegal as the man in question had a protective order that allowed him to stay in the US.

In a court filing, the regime even confessed Abrego Garcia was deported as the result of an “administrative error.” They apparently fired that lawyer for telling the truth. Then they doubled down on all of their lies about why they just had to do it. His wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, has been fighting to get him home. She’s been a real thorn in their side, continually pointing out the error of their ways and making a lot of noise.

So the effing regime doxxed her. They published a court document online that anybody could access but failed to, or chose not to, redact her home address. This means any MAGA zombie could find it and use it to harass her for daring to question their precious. Now she has to hide out in a safe house. She’s an American citizen and the ostensible government of the United States of America is actively attacking her for standing up for the constitution.

So far, the regime hasn’t commented on why they chose to publish her information. At least they haven’t claimed, yet again, simple incompetence. Hell, they haven’t claimed ANYTHING about it. They just did it. I know I shouldn’t attribute incompetence to malevolence but this seems pretty malevolent to me. The immorality of the regime is mind-boggling…

Do you remember when our incompetent Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, invited a reporter to join a classified meeting on a public app while the US bombed Yemen? Apparently, none of the people charged with our national security even realized the reporter was there. It seemed like a pretty good summary of the competence level of the guys in charge right now.

But now it turns out that inviting a reporter into his classified group was only the SECOND stupid thing Hegseth did in relation to that bombing. According to the Guardian, he ALSO sent details of the attack plan, via a second Signal chat group, to his wife, his brother, and about a dozen other people. He reportedly used his private phone for that one, too, just to make sure the information was as unsecured as could be possible.

Frankly, I think this is what happens when one puts a talking head from a weekend propaganda show in charge of the Defense Department. To me, it just feels like Hegseth is showing off to his friends. “See how important I am?” We certainly see how stupid you are, there, Pete. He doesn’t (can’t?) trust that people think the Secretary of Defense is an important job. I’ll bet he mentions that he’s the ‘SecDef’ (they love their abbreviations in the DoD) to every person he runs in to.
“Um… okay. Uh… did you want fries with that?”

This is a paragraph straight from the Guardian: “Shortly after the news of the second Signal chat broke, Politico published an opinion article by Hegseth’s former press secretary, John Ullyot, which began: “It’s been a month of total chaos at the Pentagon. From leaks of sensitive operational plans to mass firings, the dysfunction is now a major distraction for the president – who deserves better from his senior leadership.”

It seems Mr. Ullyot didn’t get the memo. ‘Total chaos’ is the GOAL of this regime. That’s WHY the Don of Destruction put Hegseth in that position in the first place. 47 sprang to Hegseth’s defense. He once again dismissed facts as “fake news” and said the idea of pursuing the issue of Pete’s security breaches was a “waste of time.” Oh, but ‘Hillary’s emails,’ right? Hypocrisy knows no bounds when it comes to MAGA…

Ho hum. Another day with Felon 47 in charge, another nearly 1,000-plus point drop in the Dow. There have only been 11 since the Dow was formed. Donny has caused four of them – in one month. There’s a reason, of course. He’s an idiot. He doesn’t know what he’s doing, and he’s too narcissistic to confess either error or incompetence.

MAGA is right there with him of course. Due to their conditioning, they have no choice. But people free to think their own thoughts – that is, the rest of the world – can readily see the Drumpfster is just a blowhard, bumbling fool. They’re getting tired of it. The world is fleeing the American dollar and our markets. The Don of Destruction thinks he can shoot his own foot until other countries surrender to his stupidity.

He doesn’t seem to understand that grabbing a bigger gun and continuing to blast away at his own feet doesn’t increase the pressure on the world, either. The world DOES seem startled by watching the madman destroy his own country intentionally but since there is precious little they can do to stop him, they just move on in other directions. It turns out, the world has options and the world it choosing to exercise those options.

The actual problem, as we all know, is the capricious tariffs coupled with the dismantling of any and all financial security measures the world has relied on for generations. Rational people everywhere are left to wonder, is he a moronic, bumbling fool or a criminal, openly manipulating the stock market for his own personal gain? I’m going to hedge my bets and say, “Both!”

I’ll tell you this: I’m starting to think leaving an insane person in charge of the country is a mistake…

As Elon has worked his evil on the nation, the nation has responded by refusing his crappy rolling crematoriums. Sales are down and stock has dropped rather distressingly, if you’re an investor. Apparently, Muck is leaving the illegal DOGE to go back and try to save the SwastiKar. Investors started buying the stock when they heard the news. BUT…

Will people buy the car? The stock will bump up as investors make moves, but if people don’t buy the car, that won’t last long. Do you think the country will breathe a collective sigh of relief and start buying them again? I don’t. We have better options, these days. The company’s reputation is, to say the least, tarnished as a result of their evil CEO.

I’ll tell you this: I hope people keep their faces turned away from Tesla, so long as Elon has any association with the company whatsoever…

MONEY Corrupted – Absolutely…

Elon is out buying votes again. He says he’s not buying votes. He’s just giving a million dollars to certain individuals so they’ll vote a certain way. TOTALLY different. To be clear, both sides are pouring money into this race. It’s just the Elon is the only one out there, actually handing checks to potential voters. This is in Wisconsin. There’s an election to replace an outgoing state supreme court justice. The cons want to do to Wisconsin what they did to the SKCOTUS – corrupt it.

If they can get their con on the court, they can eliminate abortion rights and gerrymander districts to keep Wisconsin red. That will help in the US House of “Representatives,” too. (I mean, they still “represent.” The question is, for whom? It certainly is NOT Joe Six-pack.)

This should be illegal. It USED to be illegal. When I rewrote the Constitution, I added a bit that restricted political donations to the constituents of the candidate. If you don’t live in the state, you don’t get to donate to state issues, even on the Federal level. Wisconsin’s choice for, say, Senator, should be a decision of the people of Wisconsin. Nobody else should have a say.

When he went there to buy votes, he said, “And if the [Wisconsin] supreme court is able to redraw the districts, they will gerrymander the district and deprive Wisconsin of two seats on the Republican side,” Musk claimed. “Then they will try to stop all the government reforms we are getting done for you, the American people.”

Classic MAGA. When the facts ain’t on your side, lie, lie, lie. Who gerrymanders districts to keep artificial control over their government? Republicans! Oh, and all the government “reforms” we are getting done for you, the American people?” Yep, he’s “reforming” you right out of health insurance and your Social Security. The sometimes richest man in the world is “reforming” the American people right into poverty and reforming our position on scientific and technological advancement – all the way to the back of the bus. These are NOT “reformations,” they’re “deformations.” It’s just that MAGA lacks the moral clarity to understand…

Oh, do you need to SEE what the cons plan to do once they successfully deport EVERY brown person in the country? NOW who do they get to do that back-breaking work? Well, in Floriduh, the “solution” they’ve chosen is (wait for it) – CHILDREN! There you go. Floriduh is trying to rewrite child labor laws to allow children as young as 14 to work overnight shifts – even on school nights. They want to be able to classify children as “interns” and “apprentices.” AND, I’m sure there’s no connection, they want to pass a law allowing employers to pay interns and apprentices less than the minimum wage. Rather despicable, wouldn’t you say?

Obviously, Ron DeSantis is trying to sell the proposal by (checks notes) right, lying. He said, “Why do we say we need to import foreigners, even import them illegally, when teenagers used to work at these resorts? College students should be doing all this stuff.” Yep, that WILL sell it to the moral defectives. “These resorts.” Oh, is it the “resorts” that can’t get the crops in from the fields? Does Floriduh have a LOT of “college students” aged 14? Because 14 is the entry level the cons are looking for while DeSantis speaks of “college students.”

The cons are fluffing the outcome. It’s classic ‘lipstick on a pig’ stuff. They just want to get kids out there, working, producing for wealthy people. I mean, why wait? We can get them used to the idea that THEIR labor should fund someone ELSE’S opulent lifestyle at a young age.

Fortunately, there’s some push-back. A spokesperson for a group called, ‘the Florida Immigrant Coalition,’ Thomas Kennedy, said, “To recap, they made the state hostile to immigrants. They deported a bunch of people, or scared people into not coming, or moving out of the state. They exacerbated worker shortages, so now they’re trying to gut child labor protection standards, while at the same time passing a law that would allow them to classify these children and other workers as interns.”

“It’s insane, right?” Yes, Mr. Kennedy, it is. Totally insane. But welcome to Bizarro America, the America of MAGA dreams…

I have to confess, I’ve been pessimistic about America’s chances, recently. I honestly believe the fascists have won, Better America is yesterday’s news, and it will take bloodshed to eliminate this Bizarro America. See? Pessimistic. When I hear people talking about voting strategies for the next election? I kind of throw up in my mouth a little. I wonder how people can be so self-deluded as to see this America-hating crowd illegally trample on people’s rights, illegally destroy the social safety net, illegally destroy people’s lives, and use the US Constitution to clean themselves in the bathroom, yet STILL think we’re going to have free and fair elections. Where in the F**K is the disconnect?

Oh, but hope springs eternal. Every day I wake up, hoping the headlines read “Trump Dead at 78,” even though I KNOW Satan takes care of his own and the Drumpfster ain’t goin’ nowhere. Hope. It can be VERY disappointing. Still, are you aware there are special elections taking place tomorrow? Recently, voters in Pennsylvania stood for the country and elected the Democratic candidate over the America-hating con. Apparently, it was something of a surprise.

There are TWO seats up for grabs in Floriduh. One is the seat vacated by the ever-clever Mike Waltz, he of the “let’s invite my journalist friend to sit in on our secret bombing mission” Waltz’s. The other seat is the seat abandoned by alleged statutory rapist Matt Gaetz. I mean, it really IS the best and the brightest who stand for The First Felon, isn’t it?

The other two seats are in Texas and Arizona, two states not known for “election integrity” or, hell, any kind of integrity, whatsoever. BOTH of those seats are available because the Democrats who held them died. (These seats are in addition to the “election” Musk is corrupting with his money in Wisconsin.)

One of the two Floriduh seats looks vulnerable to being flipped to Democratic and the other two were already Democrats in red states. Who KNOWS how it will turn out, but I find myself hoping. Despite my pessimism, eternally, hoping…

Security? What Security?

It seems to be turning out that putting an alcoholic talking head into the role of Defense Secretary may not have been the smartest move possible. In fairness, it MAY have been the smartest move possible from these guys, but clearly, that’s not the same as the smartest move possible.

After the recent debacle of inviting a reporter to his private chat group in which the national defense team all got on a group chat to discuss an attack on Yemen with real details of the attack being offered in real time, now it turns out Whiskey Pete Hegseth is taking his wife to work with him – AND taking her into high level meetings with foreign officials in which sensitive information was discussed.

As a real quick sidebar, one of the things MAGA has been told about that crack team is that they were on secure government equipment when the chat took place. Only MAGA was told that. The rest of us knew they were on their own phones. Obviously, debates occurred. The envoy to Russia defended that fact that he was in Moscow, with Putin, at the time of the attacks by pointing out that he couldn’t have shared information with Putin because he didn’t have his personal phone. When he went into Russia, he claims, he left his personal phone behind. Debate ended. They WERE on personal equipment.

I heard a representative from Signal, the app they were using, praising the security of Signal but careful to point out that people’s handheld phones were imminently hackable by bad guys and THAT represents the security risk. Not the app, the phones themselves. And since the contact information of many of them has been found to be readily available online, it makes sense that bad guys DID hack those phones the very moment they were named to their positions.

But, getting back to Whiskey Pete, the fiascos aren’t finished. SO… which liberal, trump-hating, smear rag is saying Jennifer Hegseth was included in high level meetings with foreign dignitaries in which sensitive information was being discussed? Why the ‘Wall Street Journal.’ Jennifer was a producer on Fox Not News. That’s where she and Pete met. We have no information as to her security clearance but then, security is clearly not a high priority for our current national defense team.

It turns out, he ALSO brings his brother to these meetings. Philip Hegseth is currently traveling around with Pete on a tour of Asia. Just for clarity, that would be on YOUR taxpayer dime. I mean, where’s DOGE when you need it? I’m pretty sure I’ve uncovered some fraud, waste, and abuse. Hegseth is the fraud, he’s wasting everybody’s time, and he’s abusing his authority…

I continue to think it’s important to remain engaged with your local MAGA. I see more and more posts and comments about how thinking Americans are just shutting out MAGA or vice-versa. Stopping communication is among the worst things you can do. It actually helps the oligarchs. Their strategy is heavily dependent on the biblical idea that a house divided against itself cannot stand. It’s just that the oligarchs have stood Jesus’ words on their ear. They know the line is true so they decided to divide the house on purpose, because a divided house cannot stand – against them.

I suspect it’s a universal observation that the “information” MAGA receives from their “news” outlets is different that the information thinking Americans receive from THEIR news outlets. That shouldn’t be, but is. The vast majority of “news” and/or “information” outlets are owned or funded by the One Percent. They make “editorial decisions” about which stories get amplified in right-leaning or left-leaning news and the stories are NEVER reported the same way. The spin is always different, too.

So if the oligarch’s goal is to divide the house with conflicting information, it becomes our job to try to heal the divide. The ONLY way I can think of to do THAT is to stay engaged. Talk to them about current events. It doesn’t HAVE to end in a shouting match, especially if you’re not trying to prove you’re right or they’re wrong. They believe their sources the same way you believe yours.

Just compare notes. You CAN get away with, “On my side, I’m hearing this. What are you hearing on your side?” THEN – and I confess, this is the hard part – DON’T guffaw or roll your eyes when they tell you. Listen to them. Don’t argue with them. Highlight the fact that their news is different than what you hear. The seed needs to be planted as to why, exactly, we’re not getting the same information. Oh, and ALWAYS consider the possibility that YOU are the one with the faulty information. Deceptive corporate media is just that – deceptive.

The point, here, is: don’t cut off your MAGA friends and family. Stay engaged. It serves the oligarchs for you to set your face against MAGA (and vice-versa) and you best undermine the oligarchs by refusing to do so. Don’t argue, discuss. When there’s no fire in the exchange, it’s possible to have a (likely short) conversation. And that’s another point. Listen to their information, share yours, move on. The longer you linger the more likely it devolves into a shouting match.

You can actually fight the oligarchy by not fighting with MAGA, but you have to keep in contact and discuss things. Maybe they’ll learn something. Maybe YOU’LL learn something. Maybe the masses can all get angry, together, at being played like a fiddle by the wealthy…

Yesterday, there was a world-wide protest against Tesla. Well, no. The protest was against Elon Musk, the immigrant who hates America the most and who means it more harm than any of our brown brothers and sisters from south of the border. But the Tesla Swasticar has become the focal point of objections to Musk and the entire world fell out in front of dealerships.

Mostly, the stock of the Swasticar is crashing. It makes some small gains, here and there, but I would guess that over time, we’re going to find out those small recoveries are manipulations of some kind. Shareholders are asking Musk to step down as CEO. They think he should focus on his business or focus on the government, but they’re clear trying to do both is not working. Musk’s destructive government actions are hurting the brand.

But, listen, don’t hurt the cars, themselves, okay? While I would NEVER own a Swasticar because of how dangerous they are in crashes, right now they’re just a symbol of our outrage that this billionaire is destroying our government. Recently, in Las Vegas, someone attacked a dealership with Molotov Cocktails and burned some of the cars up. (Kind of ironic, if you ask me. Leave them alone. They’ll burn themselves, given half a chance.) Now the person responsible has been arrested.

That guy accomplished nothing except blowing up his own life. I imagine it felt good in the moment. I imagine it felt like striking a blow of some kind. But burning two or three cars didn’t have much effect and now the guy is going to jail. Worse, because of Musk’s money and the corruption everywhere MAGA treads, the guy will probably go to jail for a LONG time, just to make a point. At the very least, if you’re going to go to jail for the cause make sure you do something concrete, something that makes a difference MORE than just sending a message.

For now, standing outside the dealership with a sign seems to be effective – and you get to go home in the evening, leaving you free to come back and hold your sign tomorrow, too. Do that and KEEP doing it as long as Musk is associated with Tesla. The ONLY thing the oligarchs are interested in is money and, for now, it’s the best weapon we have against them, denying them money…

Backwards…

One of the biggest shames of the current regime is their attacks on research. Aside from the damage they do today, they’re unilaterally walking away form research advantages that might have kept the US at the forefront of science and technology in the future.

47 is very old. He’s loyal to very old technologies. He prefers coal to solar, for example. I think he genuinely doesn’t understand that the world WILL let him corner the market in Conestoga wagons – because nobody uses Conestoga wagons anymore. (The world shrugs) “Have at it.”

So he’s sitting there in his Conestoga wagon dealership while the rest of the world is zipping around in flying cars and his tiny little mind simply can NOT conceive of a reason nobody is coming in.

Like it or not, the world is moving on, technologically. Up until recently, the United States not only moved with the rest of the world, we were world leaders in many of these technologies. Now the Felon is squeezing his eyes shut, plugging his ears, and SCREAMING that Conestoga wagons are, too, coming back! Any day now. Yep, feels like “finger on the pulse” to me…

Mike Waltz IS going to lose his job. Not because he’s an incompetent who invited a journalist into his secret chat about bombing Yemen. 47 doesn’t care about that. But Waltz ALSO left his Venmo account open and it’s FULL of journalists Waltz engages with on an ongoing basis. Venmo is a cash payment app. Waltz is getting money from journalists? Hmm, I wonder why?

Hey, MAGA, I imagine you’re all happy that Elon is out there buying “elections” for the cons. Sure, it’s illegal, but so what? He’s your guy, right? I remember when you were convinced that George Soros was doing exactly that and YOU WERE ANGRY about it, so I know YOU know it’s wrong. It was wasted anger. Soros never did MOST of the things you accused him of. He was just a convenient whipping boy.

But Elon IS doing those things. He did it in the November “election” and he’s trying to do it again in Wisconsin. Full disclosure, Soros IS in Wisconsin, trying to balance the scales a bit. I STILL say allowing billionaires to buy elections rather than letting the people choose is a terrible idea. The world is waiting for MAGA fury at THIS election interference. (Crickets…)

Here’s the thing, though. It’s a dangerous precedent. It’s a bad idea. It’s a bad idea to allow a billionaire – ANY billionaire – to buy votes. Think about it. You’re ONLY happy about it because the billionaire in question is – in your estimation – buying votes for your side. But what happens when another billionaire starts buying votes for the opposition? YOU will have established the idea that it’s okay. Buying votes is illegal, or it was until the corrupt Roberts Kangaroos decided to allow it. It SHOULD BE illegal still.

See, it’s NEVER a good idea to support corruption – even when that corruption seems to be working for you. It’s like magic. Corruption that worked FOR you today will almost certainly work AGAINST you tomorrow. And YOU will have endorsed it. What do you say then?

Speaking of dangerous precedents, Rodrigo Duterte. Remember him? He was the mayor of a city called Davao, then the President of the Philippines. He rose to power promising to replicate the tactics he used as mayor to attack drugs and drug dealers.

From CNN: ‘“All of you who are into drugs, you sons of bitches, I will really kill you,” he told a huge crowd in one of his many characteristically profane-laced 2016 campaign speeches. “I have no patience, I have no middle ground. Either you kill me or I will kill you idiots.”’

Then he unleashed death squads. They engaged in what people euphemistically call “extra-judicial” killings. ‘Extra-judicial’ is polite-speak for murder. I say it was murder because the victims never got trials. No evidence was presented. There was never an opportunity to even refute the charge, let alone defend oneself. It was summary execution based on the word of one man, with no evidence to back it up.

The death squads just started killing people across the country. There are reports that Duterte killed some himself. Each time, he claimed the victims were drug dealers. Many of them may have been. But many of the people killed were not. Under the banner of “drug dealers,” he ALSO started killing his political opponents. For the record, he was very popular. He’s currently on trial for crimes against humanity.

Now we have a similar situation with 47. To be clear, I understand gunning people down in the streets is different that grabbing them off the streets and shipping them off to foreign prisons. But the overall situation is NOT as different as it should be. People are being rounded up and shipped out with no trials. No evidence is presented. There is never an opportunity to even refute the charge, let alone defend oneself.

But that doesn’t mean you won’t end up in one of the most brutal, high-security prisons in the world. And ALL of it is based on the word of the trumpster. Now might be the time to remind people that during his first failed effort at “Presidentin,'” The Washington Post recorded 30,573 individual, provable lies. (Except to MAGA, of course. MAGA MUST see the person they pretend him to be and never, ever the person he actually is.)

Just for fun, in four years, there are roughly 1,457 days. 30,573 lies over 1,457 days works out to an average of 21 lies a day. 21 lies. Every single day. When I know that the source I’m supposed to depend on has lied to me 21 times a day, every day, for four years? I’d like to see some evidence. I’m not comfortable destroying people’s lives based on the word of a known, proven liar.

And, hey, while we’re here, can we talk about the idea of “deporting” people to prisons?!? Look, if a person IS in the country illegally, it’s a minor misdemeanor. Minor misdemeanors are not usually handled with prison, and certainly not infamous high-security, foreign prisons with worldwide reputations for cruelty and prisoner abuse.

The Felon insisted that the people he deported to this prison were part of a gang, and, hey, maybe some of them were. But we KNOW some were not. We KNOW some got swept up because they had tattoos on brown skin, regardless of what the tattoo was. And as a matter of principle, as a fact of basic morality, none of the accused received a trial to prove any charges against them, whatsoever.

I suppose supporting corruption without ever understanding that said corruption might come back to bite you in the ass is an excellent example of some of that moral stupidity Bonhoeffer was on about…

Burning Themselves…

I’m not sure car makers are required by law to be self-serving assoholics. It just works out that way, apparently. Today, we have Elon but the LAST time the United States of America flirted with Fascism, it was car maker Henry Ford at the front of the charge. In fairness to Henry, the Nazi nightmare had not played out yet. Though, in fairness to history, he didn’t seem to mind, even as it did…

I’m okay with people protesting the actions of Muck and the trumpster in front of Swasticar dealerships. I’m not a fan of setting them on fire or shooting them up. I mean, I get it. I understand the impulse. Once they’ve burned, they can’t be sold, right? It hits Musk right in the wallet. But it crosses a legal line and my concern is it will become the excuse for a crackdown.

Mostly, though, nobody NEEDS to break laws to have an effect on Swasticar sales so just stand down and let the cars burn themselves. The protests are accentuating Musk’s destruction and the car and stock are nearly in free fall. It’s gotten so bad, I saw one story where a high-dollar Swasticar investor is publicly expressing his anger that the CEO is AWOL while the company crashes and burns. You know, like the car, itself, does so often.

So THAT seems to have prompted Elon to attempt a little damage control. He found himself a media safe-space on Fox Not-News and pretended to be shocked, shocked, I tell you. “It’s really come as quite a shock to me that there is this level of, really, hatred and violence from the left,” Musk said. There you go. He DID get the requisite dig at the left in there. “Oh, it’s just crazy lefties” is a standard MAGA slur. My guess? There are people there from both sides of the aisle in these protests, though I suspect it’s MORE thinking people than Trump supporters.

“I always thought that the left, you know, Democrats, were supposed to be the party of empathy, the party of caring, and yet they’re burning down cars, they’re firebombing dealerships, they’re firing bullets into dealerships, they’re smashing up Teslas,” Musk said. Suddenly he sounds less like he’s trying to protect the Swasticar and more like he’s trying to demonize Democrats.

Still, it’s a bit of a revealing comment. The Democrats ARE the party of empathy (or what’s left of one). MAGA dogma holds that the left is comprised of “snowflakes,” soft and weak. And they cry when you challenge them on that. Then they’re surprised when the left comes out swinging. Guess what? ‘Empathy’ and ‘milquetoast’ are NOT synonyms.

“Tesla is a peaceful company,” Musk said. That part is probably true. The company just wants to sell cars. “We’ve never done anything harmful.” Okay, I can only give him half credit on that one. A ridiculous number of people have died in his cars. It feels like a shopping cart bumps a “Tesler” and the car bursts into flames.

Oh, “feels like.” What am I, MAGA? Of the 393 people who have died in incidents with Swaticars, 95 have died from fires or using the Autopilot “feature.” During the 1970’s, Ford (remember? The OTHER fascist car maker) sold a car called ‘the Pinto.’ It had a design flaw, too. It, too, commonly burst into flames in certain crashes. 27 people died by fire in those crashes and by 1980, the car was removed from sale.

One would think the NTSB would bar Musk’s rolling crematoriums from sale, as well – which might explain why Musk keeps trying to shutter agencies that oversee his products. While I HAVE heard of the death traps (sometimes ALL of them) being recalled to address various design flaws, I haven’t heard of any major design improvements. I’d call that “harmful.”

I’ll tell you this: because of the dangers associated with driving one, I wouldn’t buy a Swasticar in the first place, but the Tesler isn’t really the issue, here. The CAR has become a symbol of the CEO and his attack on the American people – and people are fighting back. Rather than being surprised people are fire-bombing his cars, he should probably be thankful people are NOT fire-bombing him! (For clarity, I am NOT suggesting nor endorsing fire-bombing Elon Musk…)

Holy gods, is this real? The Felon is out and about, claiming that Biden’s pardons aren’t official because, according to the lying Felon, Biden used autopen, a machine that signs for people. Bear in mind, the trumpster hasn’t provided any evidence that Biden used autopen. Like so many things that come out of his mouth, he may have just made it up.

I suppose a handwriting expert might be able to discern but, of course, we’ve been told never to listen to anyone who knows what they’re talking about, right? Experts suck. So who can say? Oh, I know, Joe Biden could say. He hasn’t yet, but he could. He should.

But is 47 REALLY so desperate to “get even” with people who said he’s a criminal based on nothing more than all of those crimes he’s said to have committed, he’s actually having handwriting experts examine Biden’s signature on documents? Oh, AND, that means Donny trusts experts, right? Well, unless he just made up the autopen story.

I think we all know, now, that Donny is going to ignore laws he doesn’t like. Even if Biden says he didn’t use autopen, 47 will just insist he did, anyway. It really doesn’t matter, though. The courts ruled some time ago that a President can direct a subordinate to use autopen to sign an official document. The subordinate can’t decide an issue, but once the President has made his decision, he CAN direct someone to use autopen to “sign.”

That means that even if Biden DID use autopen, the pardons are still solid. THAT leaves The Felon hanging his hat on “Maybe Biden didn’t know about the pardons.” All he has to do is ignore the “Maybe Biden DID know” bit. Biden knew and the signatures are legal. Donny just wants an angle to harass people. I’m sure MAGA is all in. I’m sure the rest of us are not.
