Smoke And Mirrors…

I think it’s important to remember: Executive Orders are not laws. They DO carry some legal weight. They do NOT have the force of laws in this sense: a subsequent President can reverse an EO with the stroke of a pen. The Legislative Branch can overrule an EO by passing an actual law. The Judicial Branch has the power to strike down EOs, just like they do normal laws.

The Executive Branch doesn’t make laws, it’s supposed to enforce them. When The Drumpfster successfully manages to scribble his name on an EO, it’s STILL not a law. EOs were once used to detail how a President intended to execute a law. That is, what steps might be taken, which department might oversee the law, that kind of thing.

They were and are “law adjacent,” if you will. Justice Hugo Black wrote in his opinion in the case of ‘Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co vs Sawyer’ that “The President’s power to see that the laws are faithfully executed refutes the idea that he is to be a lawmaker.”

He’s using EOs because he has to. He can’t get these things passed as legitimate laws so he’s doing an end run on his own Republican-controlled Congress. If Congressional Republicans had any self respect… I guess there’s no point in finishing that sentence…

Once again, the Felon deceived the market by pretending he is just about to get sane and reconsider his tariffs on China. He stated quite clearly that his anti-American regime was in talks with China and that things were going very well. The market started going up. Unfortunately for the predatory prevaricator, China gets a say in these things, too. And what THEY said was, “Nope. We’re not in talks.” They added, “We don’t see the point.”

Okay, specifically, Guo Jiakun, a spokesman for China’s Foreign Ministry, said, “For all I know, China and the U.S. are not having any consultation or negotiation on tariffs, still less reaching a deal.” He wasn’t alone.

Commerce Ministry spokesman He Yadong said, “China’s position is consistent, and we are open to consultations and dialogues, but any form of consultations and negotiations must be conducted on the basis of mutual respect and in an equal manner. Any claims about the progress of China-U.S. trade negotiations are groundless as trying to catch the wind and have no factual basis,” the spokesman said.

Two different Chinese spokesmen said no talks are happening and He Yadong said it would be like trying to catch the wind, which I understand as “What’s the point?” In the long run, I expect the US is going to suffer FAR, FAR more than any other country involved in The Felon’s trumped up trade war. I’m not looking forward to that but it seems right and proper to me.

The Bizarro US started this mess and the Bizarros deserve every bit of the blow-back that results. The rest of us are just “collateral damage,” though WE “deserve” it, too, because we haven’t done enough to stop him. The Drumpfster is the world’s problem, but he’s OUR responsibility.

A lot of people, big people, strong people are saying it to me, they say, “Why doesn’t he just dry up and blow away?” A lot of people are saying it. You’re hearing it a LOT. And, as you know, when “a lot of people are saying it” and “you’re hearing it a lot,” one has no choice but to do what those voices are saying…

Bill Maher likely doesn’t realize how deeply he’s stepped in it. He became a “useful idiot” to the regime and there was quite a bit of push-back. The entire rational world is trying to get him to realize he was a pawn, used to put a nicer face on a madman. Larry David noticed and wrote an op-ed called ‘My Dinner With Adolf.’

It purported to be a report about a “vocal critic” of Hitler who got invited to dinner with the man himself and found him surprisingly warm and gracious. “Here I was, prepared to meet Hitler, the one I’d seen and heard — the public Hitler. But this private Hitler was a completely different animal. And oddly enough, this one seemed more authentic, like this was the real Hitler. The whole thing had my head spinning,” David wrote.

Replace ‘Hitler’ with ‘Trump’ and you’ve got a nearly perfect transcript of what Maher said of the Don of Destruction after their dinner. I suspect Maher is trying to white-knuckle the whole controversy away, hoping it blows over sooner, rather than later. Initially, he didn’t respond to David’s op-ed at all. Apparently, the two are friends and don’t want to get into a public spat. But eventually, Maher had to respond so he… oh, get this, he played the Jew card.

Maher, a life-long, avowed Atheist who is half-Jewish by birth, said of the op-ed written by full-blooded, practicing Jew Larry David, that it was, “kind of insulting to 6 million dead Jews.” I think Maher needs a new mirror. To my mind, Maher snuggling up to the Fascist madman was “kind of insulting to 6 million dead Jews.”

I fully support talking to MAGA. I absolutely believe we and they receive different information from our various sources. We should ALL compare notes, find out who’s being told what. But that applies to the rank and file. One is not going to get one of the Deceivers to change their ways. One does not fight evil with understanding…

47 did this with Covid. He kept saying, if we stop testing, we’ll stop finding cases. His twisted, tiny little mind probably thought that made sense, too. If we don’t talk about Covid-19, there IS no Covid-19. He killed a little over a million people with that stupid outlook. He and his regime are trying the same trick with Climate Change. These clowns seem to actually believe that if you don’t talk about it, it goes away. (Pro tip: it doesn’t.) Now he’s doing the same thing with polling.

Fox Not-News MADE him. They built him up on a tower of lie after lie after lie. Ever since their loyalty cost Murdoch nearly a billion dollars, though, the network has been a little, and I mean just a touch, more balanced in their coverage of the dotard. They recently published a poll that showed the Felon’s approval rating is lower than any other President in history at this point in his tenure, with the SECOND worst rating ALSO belonging to the Felonious Failure.

Naturally, 47 went ballistic. He does that whenever anybody tells a truth about him. He doesn’t LIKE it when people tell the truth about him. Now he wants pretty much everybody at Fox Not-News fired. This seems like a hopeful crack in the GOP shield wall that protects 47. If Murdoch and 47 fall out, there’s a risk Fox Not News and/or the Wall Street Journal will start reporting honestly on the Felon’s actions – and that would be very, VERY bad for 47. Fingers crossed…

The Immorality of the Regime…

Is THIS what MAGA wanted? Is this what MAGA had in mind? A government that is SO cruel, it will attack it’s own citizens for asking questions? This… distortion of humanity currently destroying our nation deported a man, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, to a maximum security prison with no charges, no trial, no chance to defend himself AND, not coincidentally, no chance for anybody to question the regime’s actions, either. The deportation was illegal as the man in question had a protective order that allowed him to stay in the US.

In a court filing, the regime even confessed Abrego Garcia was deported as the result of an “administrative error.” They apparently fired that lawyer for telling the truth. Then they doubled down on all of their lies about why they just had to do it. His wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, has been fighting to get him home. She’s been a real thorn in their side, continually pointing out the error of their ways and making a lot of noise.

So the effing regime doxxed her. They published a court document online that anybody could access but failed to, or chose not to, redact her home address. This means any MAGA zombie could find it and use it to harass her for daring to question their precious. Now she has to hide out in a safe house. She’s an American citizen and the ostensible government of the United States of America is actively attacking her for standing up for the constitution.

So far, the regime hasn’t commented on why they chose to publish her information. At least they haven’t claimed, yet again, simple incompetence. Hell, they haven’t claimed ANYTHING about it. They just did it. I know I shouldn’t attribute incompetence to malevolence but this seems pretty malevolent to me. The immorality of the regime is mind-boggling…

Do you remember when our incompetent Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, invited a reporter to join a classified meeting on a public app while the US bombed Yemen? Apparently, none of the people charged with our national security even realized the reporter was there. It seemed like a pretty good summary of the competence level of the guys in charge right now.

But now it turns out that inviting a reporter into his classified group was only the SECOND stupid thing Hegseth did in relation to that bombing. According to the Guardian, he ALSO sent details of the attack plan, via a second Signal chat group, to his wife, his brother, and about a dozen other people. He reportedly used his private phone for that one, too, just to make sure the information was as unsecured as could be possible.

Frankly, I think this is what happens when one puts a talking head from a weekend propaganda show in charge of the Defense Department. To me, it just feels like Hegseth is showing off to his friends. “See how important I am?” We certainly see how stupid you are, there, Pete. He doesn’t (can’t?) trust that people think the Secretary of Defense is an important job. I’ll bet he mentions that he’s the ‘SecDef’ (they love their abbreviations in the DoD) to every person he runs in to.
“Um… okay. Uh… did you want fries with that?”

This is a paragraph straight from the Guardian: “Shortly after the news of the second Signal chat broke, Politico published an opinion article by Hegseth’s former press secretary, John Ullyot, which began: “It’s been a month of total chaos at the Pentagon. From leaks of sensitive operational plans to mass firings, the dysfunction is now a major distraction for the president – who deserves better from his senior leadership.”

It seems Mr. Ullyot didn’t get the memo. ‘Total chaos’ is the GOAL of this regime. That’s WHY the Don of Destruction put Hegseth in that position in the first place. 47 sprang to Hegseth’s defense. He once again dismissed facts as “fake news” and said the idea of pursuing the issue of Pete’s security breaches was a “waste of time.” Oh, but ‘Hillary’s emails,’ right? Hypocrisy knows no bounds when it comes to MAGA…

Ho hum. Another day with Felon 47 in charge, another nearly 1,000-plus point drop in the Dow. There have only been 11 since the Dow was formed. Donny has caused four of them – in one month. There’s a reason, of course. He’s an idiot. He doesn’t know what he’s doing, and he’s too narcissistic to confess either error or incompetence.

MAGA is right there with him of course. Due to their conditioning, they have no choice. But people free to think their own thoughts – that is, the rest of the world – can readily see the Drumpfster is just a blowhard, bumbling fool. They’re getting tired of it. The world is fleeing the American dollar and our markets. The Don of Destruction thinks he can shoot his own foot until other countries surrender to his stupidity.

He doesn’t seem to understand that grabbing a bigger gun and continuing to blast away at his own feet doesn’t increase the pressure on the world, either. The world DOES seem startled by watching the madman destroy his own country intentionally but since there is precious little they can do to stop him, they just move on in other directions. It turns out, the world has options and the world it choosing to exercise those options.

The actual problem, as we all know, is the capricious tariffs coupled with the dismantling of any and all financial security measures the world has relied on for generations. Rational people everywhere are left to wonder, is he a moronic, bumbling fool or a criminal, openly manipulating the stock market for his own personal gain? I’m going to hedge my bets and say, “Both!”

I’ll tell you this: I’m starting to think leaving an insane person in charge of the country is a mistake…

As Elon has worked his evil on the nation, the nation has responded by refusing his crappy rolling crematoriums. Sales are down and stock has dropped rather distressingly, if you’re an investor. Apparently, Muck is leaving the illegal DOGE to go back and try to save the SwastiKar. Investors started buying the stock when they heard the news. BUT…

Will people buy the car? The stock will bump up as investors make moves, but if people don’t buy the car, that won’t last long. Do you think the country will breathe a collective sigh of relief and start buying them again? I don’t. We have better options, these days. The company’s reputation is, to say the least, tarnished as a result of their evil CEO.

I’ll tell you this: I hope people keep their faces turned away from Tesla, so long as Elon has any association with the company whatsoever…

Mostly Minutia…

I’m sure glad we, the people, have so little to worry about that we can focus on an almost-to-space flight of a Jeff Bezos’ rocket with an all-female crew. There seem to be two prongs to the “outrage.” One, the behavior of the women involved and, two, that fact that going to space harms the environment, specifically, the Ozone layer, so we shouldn’t do so frivolously.

So, full disclosure, I’ve never been to space or even near space, just in case you were wondering. But I’ve been intrigued by space since I was a young boy. I’ve read and watched a LOT on the topic. There’s one thing that seems to be universal. It seems like everybody who goes to space, comes back a bit different. No, I don’t mean there are creatures about to pop out of their chests but going up there does seem to have a common thread: it’s life-altering in one’s perception of humanity and Earth.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed this, but those spaceships have a tendency to blow up, especially since the program was “privatized.” (“Privatized” is never better.) That makes the journey very dangerous, or, at least, risky. Having gone up, experienced weightlessness, and safely returned – that is, survived – you might want to kiss the Earth, when you got back, too. I genuinely hope the crew of that ship can learn to tune out the critics until this oh-so-important kerfuffle passes, which I assume will be soon.

If anything, I can see taking issue with the environmental harm of sending ships up as publicity stunts, but that’s not on the crew. That’s on Bezos. He doesn’t mind destroying the environment because he has the cash to build a long-term, artificial environment for himself and a few lucky friends. Besides, I don’t know if you’ve noticed THIS, but the billionaires of this once-great nation don’t give two figs about what you think about them or what they’re doing, so long as you keep buying the crap they sell…

I saw a headline that read, “Is it legal for CBP to search your cell phone at the U.S. border?” (CBP is customs and Border Protection.) I didn’t read it. The question strikes me as academic, at this point. One of the most terrible things about the destruction of our Constitution is that “legal” is now defined by whomever is making the determination and whatever whim is fueling the moment.

As MAGA gets the world they wanted – a Hellscape of desperation and destruction – one of the very FIRST casualties was the death of the Rule of Law. No, not for work-a-day Joes. Don’t be ridiculous. WE will absolutely be held to “laws.” But the privileged elite and their cronies will get to do pretty much whatever they want to do. If they want to search your cell phone – and even download and privately enjoy your personal boudoir photos – they’re going to.

You can scream “illegal” all you want to. When no one enforces existing laws, there ARE no existing laws. It doesn’t MATTER if it’s a violation of your Fourth Amendment right to privacy. “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue but upon probable cause…”

I’ll tell you this: the Constitution was better. Yes, it was clumsy and not as quick as we would all like but that was politics, not the Constitution. Knowing the rules because they were written down and making them apply to everyone was just… better…

In a rather spectacular display of dullness, people are STILL looking to the “election” of 2028. Oh, who’s going to run? What strategy should they use? How can they attract this bloc or that group? How do they tune their message?

I’m telling you right now, if he hasn’t already done the planet the service of dying – and Satan takes care of his own – Felon 47 is going to “win” the 2028 “election” with 94% of the vote. Dictators LOVE to “win” their “elections” with margins in the low 90’s. They think it gives them the imprimatur of a landslide.

But the name currently being floated around as a popular choice to run for President in 2028 is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, (D-NJ), commonly referred to simply as ‘AOC.’ She’s out on tour with Bernie Sanders, trying to whip up some support in an effort to maintain the republic – as though the republic hasn’t already been destroyed.

Don’t get me wrong, I respect the effort. I wish them all the success in the world. I really do. But I think it’s too little, too late. We the people needed to stop the Heritage coup LONG before it got to this point. We didn’t. Complacency, shock, disbelief, whatever, we failed to keep our republic.

So, on the one hand, I’d love to vote for AOC. I wanted her to run in the last election. I know, she’s too extreme for a lot of people. I’m STILL working on why it’s “too extreme” to want the best for America and Americans but “exactly right” to devastate the nation, the Constitution, and the economy. If you ask me, it’s the Felon 47 regime that’s too extreme. FAR too extreme.

On the other hand, I like AOC. I don’t WANT to hear that she has been arrested for “activities against America” or that she suddenly decided to jump out of a window, just as some con operator paid her a visit. Coincidence, of course…

As Popes go, I thought Pope Francis was a good one. I was a bit surprised to hear of his passing. I knew he had been sick, recently, but I thought he was doing better. It seems like a pretty sudden turn of events. Still, at 88, things can change pretty suddenly.

Now the church enters into a period of mourning and the Cardinals all get together to elect a new pope. I hope they find a good one. The world is going through VERY strange times and a person of vision would be great…

I Prefer the First Amendment…

It really bugs me that the media in this once-great nation seems to be having success equating objections to the actions of the Israeli government with antisemitism. The two are light-years apart. I have no problems with Jewish people nor Judaism, in general. I have tremendous heartburn with the actions of the Israeli government. I oppose genocide, not Judaism.

I suppose now is the time to add that I don’t support Hamas, either. When one gets down to brass tacks, I think BOTH sides are wrong in this one. Hamas was just plain stupid to launch rockets into Israel, counter-productively killing civilians who, likely, have no more control over their government than I do over mine. That does not give Israel the right to wipe Gaza off the map and claim the land for themselves.

I watched the April 11 episode of ‘Real Time with Bill Maher’ and there was much talk about the “crimes” of Mahmoud Khalil that make it “okay” to deport him, despite the fact that he has a Green Card and is here legally. ‘Crimes’ was probably a poor choice of words. NOBODY has charged any crimes, not even the criminal regime. He participated in protests against the Israeli government in their actions in Gaza. That’s it. But his opponents have accused him of saying things they don’t like and insist that should be enough. So much for the First Amendment, I guess.

Many of the claims Maher spewed centered around unsupported assertions in filings from the government – THIS criminal regime – explaining why they can deport Khalil despite his Green Card. ‘He harassed Jews on campus.’ No evidence. ‘He supports Hamas.’ No evidence. ‘He lied on his Green Card application.’ No evidence. The whole thing is built on false equivalencies. Supporting Palestinians is NOT the same as supporting Hamas. Objecting to the actions of Israel is NOT the same as being antisemitic.

Despite Maher’s obvious shift to the right in recent years, I’ve enjoyed his show for a long time and I pay attention to the things he says. So, when he leveled those charges, I sought to verify them. I couldn’t. I read the government’s filing (it was only two pages) but find their credibility lacking – especially in view of the fact that even the regime didn’t detail any of their “charges.” He acted as liaison between the protestors and the school and handed out leaflets. Reading “Stop killing innocent Palestinians” as “I love Hamas” takes some real mental gymnastics.

What I DID find was various Jewish groups supporting Khalil. They were quite clear. They DO NOT like what he said, but they defend his right to say those things. If, they add, he had done something, taken some action against Jews, they would feel differently, but, according to them, he hasn’t done any of that. He just engaged in objectionable speech and that’s what the First Amendment is about. They object to the claim that his actions were antisemitic based on the idea that frivolous claims of antisemitism undermine actual instances of antisemitism.

So now we have the criminal regime (mostly not Jewish) and Bill Maher (half Jewish by birth) out there objecting to “antisemitism” even the Jewish community isn’t citing or claiming and Mahmoud Khalil’s life being destroyed in the process – because he thinks killing innocent people is a BAD thing and stands up – peacefully, mind you – for what he believes. I remember when the US liked having those kinds of people around. Now all of that is being turned into “thought crimes.” Isn’t that from ‘1984?’

One of the tricks MAGA media is using to keep MAGA on their side is constantly repeating MAGA conditioning that EVERY person deported to a maximum security prison without trial on those illegal flights to El Salvador was a very bad guy. If, instead, you get your information from any centrist or credible source, you know that’s not true. A prominent case in point in this moment is the case of Kilmar Abrego García. It looks, to me, like the regime is heading to a final showdown with the courts over his illegal deportation.

The short version is, there was no legal basis to deport Abrego García. A Federal judge has ordered his return. The regime has failed to comply. At first, they said they couldn’t get Abrego García back. Since the US is paying El Salvador millions of dollars to take and keep the never-charged prisoners, it seems likely they could get the guy back if they wanted to. Worse, if these clowns are deporting people, without charge or trial, to foreign countries to be held in prison and have no method in place to retrieve any one of them for any reason, they’re insanely irresponsible and absolutely out of control.

Oh, and, quick question, why isn’t DOGE looking at THAT waste of American tax dollars? Not the deportations, per se. Those are going to cost some money. But paying foreign prisons millions of dollars to hold these non-criminal prisoners is ADDING cost needlessly. It’s the epitome of fraud, waste, and abuse. Claiming these people were all violent criminals is the fraud. Paying to put them in foreign prisons instead of just dropping them off at some airport in a different country is the waste. Throwing people in prison without charges or trial is very definitely abuse.

So, the judge in the case, US district judge Paula Xinis, ordered the anti-constitutional regime to report his status and any steps that may have been taken, so far, to comply with the court’s order to bring him back. A guy named Michael G Kozak, who identified himself in a “response” filing as a “Senior Bureau Official” in the state department’s Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs, confirmed to the court that Abrego García in still in the infamous prison, alive and “secure,” not necessarily “well.”

The filing Kozak made said, “It is my understanding based on official reporting from our Embassy in San Salvador that Abrego García is currently being held in the Terrorism Confinement Center in El Salvador. He is alive and secure in that facility. He is detained pursuant to the sovereign, domestic authority of El Salvador.“

I added the emphasis on that last line because it’s an outright lie. In reality, he is detained pursuant to a paid request of the Bizarro United States of America. It’s important to understand, Abrego García has no criminal record, either here nor in El Salvador. He fled El Salvador as a teenager because the gangs down there threatened to kill him if he didn’t join. How horrifically ironic is it that the regime used “gang member” as their excuse to deport him?

But more importantly, that last line, “He is detained pursuant to the sovereign, domestic authority of El Salvador,” is the basis the regime plans to use to refuse to bring him home. That’s my prediction. The argument they seem to be teeing up is that he’s a citizen of El Salvador being held according to the authority of El Salvador, so how could the US ever expect to bring him home? I mean, it would interfere with the sovereign rights of a foreign nation and everyone KNOWS the US never, ever interferes with the sovereign rights of foreign nations, right?

Even the corrupt Supremely Kangaroo Court has upheld the judge’s order to facilitate the man’s return to the country. Right now, the regime is saying, “We can’t” but I suspect that, soon and very soon, their answer will change to a far simpler, “No.”

I’ll tell you this: that will be the day the US court system essentially collapses. That will be the day the criminal regime presses the fact that the courts in the United States have no enforcement authority without the cooperation of the Administrative branch. The regime’s “No” will actually be, “No. What are you going to do about it?”

First Felon 47 fired General Tim Haugh, Director of the US National Security Agency (NSA). Oh, he also headed US Cyber Command, which coordinates the Pentagon’s cybersecurity operations. Do you know why he was fired? Laura Loomer, a social media personality suggested it because he was good at his job and loyal to national security, MORE loyal to national security than to Donny. In this mess, loyalty is everything, qualifications don’t matter, as evidenced by his TV team and social media advisors. 47 also fired Haugh’s civilian deputy at the NSA, Wendy Noble. She was qualified, too. Had to go.

Now we’ll have someone in the role who is loyal to the Drumpfster and no one else. Good at the job? Who cares? He’s loyal to 47. I’m sure it will be someone of the same caliber as the crack team of “Jeniouses” that invited a reporter into their classified chat and didn’t even know it. Quality work there, guys…

Did you see the part about Haugh being in charge of Cyber Security? Most intelligent people believe our next war will be fought via computer. You’d think you’d want someone in the job who can at least turn the thing on. Not Donny, no way. Loyalty, nothing else…

Our National Embarrassment has issued executive orders blocking security clearances and canceling federal contracts with law firms who have worked with his perceived enemies. These are big, powerful law firms. They’re just chock full of smart lawyers ready to fight. You just KNOW these guys are going to… wait… what?

Bent the knee, eh? Willkie, Farr, & Gallagher, where Kamala Harris’ husband is a partner, has agreed to provide $100 million dollars in free legal services. They’re the third “major” law firm to buckle, after Paul Weiss and Skadden Arps. Well, that’s not entirely right. Donny hasn’t issued an Executive Order against Willkie, yet. They just stepped up and volunteered to bend the knee. (My, that DOES sound like most Democrats, these days, doesn’t it?)

It’s likely I don’t understand the ins and outs of this thing but I’ll tell you this: if I was a client of any one of those firms, I’d start looking for different representation immediately. I mean, if they won’t even fight for themselves, how much are they going to fight for me? I’m just sayin’…

I AM pleased to note that Elon couldn’t buy the election in Wisconsin. He spent a LOT. He lost anyway. The election was for a State Supreme Court Judge. We don’t normally DO parties for a State Supreme Court Judge, but we all knew, for this one, based on who was backing whom. It was a big deal. Muck even went so far as to say the election was a fight to determine “the future of America and Western Civilization.”

Wisconsin is about to consider redistricting maps for the state. Wisconsin has been gerrymandered in favor of the GOP for quite some time, now, and those being cheated against are getting sick of it. Had the Republican-favored candidate won, women in Wisconsin would lose their right to choose and the gerrymandering would have continued into the foreseeable future. Since the Dem won, women will likely retain their rights (until the Feds step in) and the redistricting map will move forward.

It eliminates two “safe” GOP seats in the House of Representatives. They’re “safe” because they’re gerrymandered. It’s peculiar, the more success Americans have eliminating gerrymandering, the less power the GOP has in Congress. Why, it’s almost as if, given a fair chance, Americans REJECT the GOP agenda. Their margin is getting smaller and smaller. It really was a big deal…

Yeah, yeah, I’ve heard it. Biden left an economic mess. THAT’S why bad things like this are happening now, and not when Biden was actually in office. In fact, if I remember correctly, the economy was SO strong, Felon 47 was actively taking credit for it – even though Biden was in charge.

“THIS IS THE TRUMP STOCK MARKET BECAUSE MY POLLS AGAINST BIDEN ARE SO GOOD THAT INVESTORS ARE PROJECTING THAT I WILL WIN, AND THAT WILL DRIVE THE MARKET UP.” He posted that on his Untruth Social on January 29, 2024.

“There are many people that are saying that the only reason the Stock Market is high is because I am leading in all of the Polls,” Yet again, his fingers roaring on Untruth Social, May 15, 2024.

Of course, he also posted some blame. In early August, 2024, the stock market dropped a little. That happens. It was a blip. But Felon 47 was there, “STOCK MARKETS CRASHING. I TOLD YOU SO!!! …ALL CAUSED BY INEPT U.S. LEADERSHIP!” August 4, 2024.

Now Donny’s in charge and Donny has made some very 19th century moves. Have you checked your 401k, yet? Are you looking at the Stock Market or closing your eyes, plugging your ears, and shouting “La, la, la?” Donny imposed his insane tariffs on Thursday, April 3 – infamously imposing tariffs on penguins – those damned unfair birds! The market reacted exactly as one would have expected and certainly predicted. It plunged by almost 1,700 points. (That’s $2.4 TRILLION dollars he wiped out – in ONE DAY!)

It was set to open even worse, 1,500 more points in overnight futures sell-offs. But that was just the opener. By the end of the second day, the market had shed 2,100 more points. $6.4 TRILLION dollars in value, wiped off the boards – in TWO DAYS! For those of you keeping score at home, that’s a total of $11.1 Trillion dollars wiped off the boards since 47 was inaugurated.

What was it the Drumpfster wrote? Oh, yeah, “STOCK MARKETS CRASHING. …ALL CAUSED BY INEPT U.S. LEADERSHIP!” I guess if I’m being fair, I have to give him credit for that one. Inept US leadership IS crashing the market. The only part he missed was which President was the most inept. (The world agrees, though: it’s Trump – by a wide margin…)

Believe it or not, MAGA isn’t worried. MAGA has been conditioned to believe these are short-term pains. Yes, they’ve been told, it’s going to hurt at first, but then things are going to bloom in a way you’ve never imagined. THAT, at least is a kind of truth. MAGA isn’t capable of imagining anything other than glory for their “Dear Misleader” so they really would NEVER imagine the market doing what every decent economist in the world knows it’s going to do.

Having conditioned them to accept the crash as “a plan,” he has only to keep moving the goal posts by telling them the blooms are coming soon. The pain? Oh, they’ll feel that, daily, but they expect blooms in the near future. Any time, now. Just around the corner. No, not quite yet, but it’s coming. Hang in there. Be strong. He said it, so MAGA STILL expects their flowers to bloom.

You know, the way your flowers “bloom” after you pour ‘Round Up’ on them. Sure, they wilt at first but then they… I mean, they… well, they’re supposed to… Hey, what’s up with these flowers?

Let’s start blaming Joe Biden now, and avoid the rush…

FOCUS, People…

I see more and more people coming out to protest the failures of this regime, which are legion. That’s a good thing. MAGA may be happy, but Americans are pissed off! Increasingly, they’re showing up at protests to say so. Americans are ready to fight. We know who we want to fight and we know why we want to fight them. Our problem? We lack a central point to rally around.

Bernie Sanders and now AOC are starting to have an effect. People are coming out in droves to see them and hear them. The speeches are inspiring, too. But I’m not sure Bernie and AOC are successfully going to be the bright star people follow. While their speeches ARE good, they boil down to a litany of complaints and charges. No actions. They MAY help people vent fury but they’re not DOING anything to protect the Constitution.

At one of the rallies, I heard a woman in the crowd shout, “What are you going to DO about it?” To my ear, it was a challenge, not a taunt. It had an unspoken subtext: “Yeah, the speeches are nice and even inspiring, but they’re JUST speeches. We need action and you’re in Congress. What ACTIONS are you taking?” (Yes, the subtext was longer than the text…)

Bernie heard her. He looked over at her. Then he turned back to his speech and kept on a-talkin’. I’m a Bernie fan. I’m an AOC fan. They can describe a problem clearly and with passion. They can throw out vague affirmations. “Oh, we’re not going to let them do that!” Great. Now let’s hear the plan to stop them. “We’re going to give speeches!” Less great.

I do have to add, Bernie and AOC are bringing out thousands of people to these rallies. If nothing else, that will demonstrate for everybody how many of us are furious and ready to fight. It creates a sense of solidarity. It’s inspiring to the push-back. But it STILL needs to speak to specific actions or, I fear, the movement will fizzle, eventually.

We’ve seen people focus their fury on Swasitcar dealerships. I suspect that’s because it’s a visible, focal point. We can ALL find a Swasticar dealership and we can ALL stand outside. Even better, we can SEE results as sales drop and the stock crashes. It’s tangible action with tangible results. Right now, it’s the best Americans have got, attacking the dealerships. As a side benefit, it’s making people FEEL better as they take some kind of action. For a moment, they feel less paralyzed by events of the day.

Counting on individual action is better than nothing but it’s also next to nothing. The various splinter groups around the country are a step up but they lack focus. What we NEED is a George Washington – a trusted, central figure people can rally around. It should matter less which individual grievance one comes out to protest and more that we all agree the destruction our nation at the hands of greedy, evil “people” is unacceptable. In protecting the Constitution as an umbrella issue, you’re ALSO protecting your own, individual cause…

This is weird. 47 spent a few days, there, ripping on Joe Biden for using autopen to sign some or all of the pardons he issued before leaving office. 47 insisted this was a BAD thing. He acknowledged that he uses autopen but only for “unimportant” things. The “unimportant” thing he cited was return letters to fans who have written him.

THEN, he made a big deal about signing the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. He invoked this particular war powers act, he said, in order to accomplish something he could easily have accomplished, legally, using other, already-on-the-books laws. Then he promised he was going to deport a bunch of Venezuelan gang members using the Act. Again, if his charges against the gang members were true, he didn’t NEED the Alien Enemies Act. But that’s what he did.

Now obviously, legal types pushed back against his invocation of the war time act and a judge agreed it had been misapplied. The judge issued a restraining order telling the administration NOT to deport the targeted group until the courts could hear the case. The regime ignored the order and sent the planes anyway.

The judge got angry and ordered the regime back to court to explain why they ignored his order. I feel like The First Felon and his crew expected to ride out the storm based on the idea that people would have to defend Venezuelan gang members. Who wants to do that? (Note: it SHOULD be every American, since the problem with what he did wasn’t the victims so much as the violation of the law.)

But… oh, rats! It turns out some of the “Venezuelan gang members,” um, weren’t. Right, they weren’t gang members. Right, some of them weren’t Venezuelan. The thing they seem to have in common is they were a) brown and, b) had a tattoo. I’m no lawyer, but I’m not familiar with any law that makes it illegal to be brown and have tattoos. Neither, I suspect, is the judge. This, as you can imagine, is going to seriously undermine any claims of “just taking out the garbage.”

So NOW 47 – you remember, he’s the guy who never uses autopen for “important” things – is out and about telling people that HE never signed the Executive Order invoking the Alien Enemies Act. He says he doesn’t KNOW when the EO was signed because he left that to other people. That sounds like autopen on an important document, to me, AND it’s a confession that maybe he didn’t know it was being signed at all, right? One of his loyal minions did that TO him, right?

Now, obviously, it’s just Donny being Donny and avoiding responsibility for anything he “strongly” does that “bigly” comes back to bite him in the ass – which happens to this guy a lot. He’s taking the position that, since he can’t know when the order was signed, he can’t be held in contempt for ignoring the judges order. I’ll bet that’s not right, though.

I HAVE noticed this: now that he’s relying on autopen as his alibi, he has shut his mouth about Biden using autopen and how “wrong” that was. At least for the moment. Fear not, that lie will be back. He really wants to take revenge against anybody who participated in prosecuting him over all of those crimes he (allegedly) committed. But for right now, he needs it to be okay for some unknown, low-level flunky to use autopen to sign his name to important papers without him knowing who or when.

He spoke with reporters and told them, “Number one, I don’t know when it was signed ’cause I didn’t sign it. Other people handled it. But Marco Rubio’s done a great job, and he wanted them out, and we go along with that.” That looks like throwing Rubio under the bus, but that’s a different piece.

MAGA will buy it, of course. Hell, they’ll buy practically anything – especially the cheap crap he has made in China and overcharges for, here. (“Wow, only $11,000 dollars for a $300 dollar guitar? What a deal!”) What I’m hoping even MAGA can’t accept is the White House explanation for the sudden (and, likely, temporary) change of stance. The White House position, and I’m not making this up, was that The Felon “was obviously referring to the original Alien Enemies Act that was signed back in 1798.” That’s what White House communications director Steven Cheung said in a statement.

While 47 was actively trying to distance himself from the EO invoking the Alien Enemies Act, the White House was insisting that he was referring to the original signing of the original act? In 1798? He didn’t know WHEN that was signed or by whom? How about 1798 and John Adams? And we can be confident it WAS Adams. Autopen hadn’t been invented yet.

While the trumpster was pulling his “I know nothing. I see nothing!” shtick, the White House was swearing up and down and inside out that, “The recent Executive Order was personally signed by President Trump invoking the Alien Enemies Act that designated Tren de Aragua as a Foreign Terrorist Organization in order to apprehend and deport these heinous criminals.”

So there you go. He didn’t do what he did, he doesn’t know anything about all those things he’s an expert on, and he knows nothing about what his underlings are doing because he has his fingers so decidedly on the pulse of his regime, um, from the golf course. Clear as mud…

47 shows up and one of the first things he does is attack the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The NEXT thing that happens? Planes start falling from the sky (or crashing into each other) at a startling rate. Sure, MAGA will blame Biden… or Obama… or China or some other unrelated person, place, or thing. BUT…

A new gold standard of evil?
Since 1945, Adolph Hitler has been the gold standard of evil for most of the world. Whenever anyone wanted to point to peak evil, they pointed to Hitler. I suspect, by the time he’s through, the world will point to Donald TRUMP as the new exemplar of pure evil.

Remember, you have to compare Trump to Hitler at the rise of Hitler’s power, not the end. BY the end, Hitler was responsible for 60 million deaths, but he didn’t start that way. Trump only has one million, so far. His move to compete for the title has seen him remove every environmental regulation he could get away with. And as soon as he can, he’ll remove the rest. Yet another move that’s great for corporations, terrible for humanity.

I suspect the ONLY thing that will prevent 47 from formally taking the title will be in rendering the planet completely unfit to support human life at all. I mean, killing off billions of people will easily grant him the title of “most evil,” but nobody will be around to say so…

Let’s hold a different image…
I believe that people are composed of energy and that the energy of people can intertwine. The simplest example of what I mean is that thing where you get to thinking about someone you once knew and saw often, but you’ve lost touch with through the years. Suddenly, your phone rings and on the other end is the very person in question. If you’ve been alive for very long, you’ve experienced the phenomenon.

Mary Kay cosmetics (stay with me, here) has a message they teach their sales consultants: ‘What you think about, you bring about.’ They MEAN, picture yourself getting the sale. But the idea works with a lot of things. People write books about it from time to time. ‘The Power of Positive Thinking,’ that kind of thing. The catch is, the thoughts don’t HAVE to be positive to bring about results. Negative thoughts can yield negative results.

Right now, around the world, people are envisioning Trump succeeding in his efforts to destroy the US – even if they don’t mean to be doing so. MAGA, of course, is so happy as to be barely containable. Ecstatic, in fact. MAGA is wishing and hoping and hoping and wishing for him to burn the whole place to the ground. They can’t WAIT for him to start hurting people – the more harm, the better – and they don’t even care that they’re going to be among the harmed. They just want him to fuck things up and they keep a clear image of his “successes” in their minds. “Ooh, look what he’s destroying today.” (Can you imagine, living a life of cheering the Four Horsemen?)

On the other hand, sane people are living in day-to-day dread, anger, and sadness that he’s burning the whole place to the ground. We’re focused on it. We think about it. We worry about it. We fret the details. Yes, it’s for different reasons, but the end result is, WE keep a clear image of his “successes” in OUR minds, too. My concern is, what we’re worrying about, we’re bringing about.

The thing is, that means everybody, MAGA or otherwise, is maintaining a clear image of his “successes.” If you oppose what The First Felon is doing, you have to stop doing that. You don’t mean to be, obviously, but you might be helping him. You have to change the image you’re holding so you can change the energy you’re enabling.

When I realized all of this, I developed a different, random mental image of him. He’s just laying there, looks like he’s asleep. He even has a trace of that moronic smirk of his. He looks peaceful and serene and he’s cradled in a well-padded, well-appointed box. I make NO effort to determine HOW he got there. That’s not important. I’m going to let the universe take care of that part. What IS important, is that I’m no longer focused on his “successes,” either through happiness nor fear.

If I’m watching him on TV or something, of course, I see him, moving, talking, breathing, just fine (for him, I mean). But in my mind’s eye, when I think about him, the picture is different and I hold THAT image instead of fearing his success. If you oppose him, YOU need to change the picture, too. If we all use the same, basic, image, THAT will be the energy we’re putting forward.

I don’t know if it will work. Even if it does, I can’t say how long it might take. But I CAN tell you that since I took up the practice, it has gotten easier to do. It wasn’t difficult to learn to switch to my replacement image, and it’s only been about a week that I’ve been trying. Oh, and I’m very much happier, not adding energy to his destructive path. Try it yourself. You’ll be much happier, too…

I really need to lighten the mood…
I know it can be hard to tell, but I DO try to be fair. I’m definitely in the camp of those who suspect the NFL has “managed” the outcome of games in an effort to sell tickets. I think the fact that they’re legally registered as a ‘Sports Entertainment League’ puts them roughly, on par with ‘Big Time Wrestling,’ a “league” famous for fixing outcomes. But nobody was betting on the wrestlers. Most people KNEW it was fixed and wouldn’t be so stupid. I doubt it was even possible.

Now, though, the NFL has “partnered” with sports betting site ‘FanDuel.’ They’re expecting over a BILLION dollars to be bet on the Stupid Bowel, alone. “Managing” the outcome of games would also qualify as bet-rigging, wouldn’t it? Fixing games might be okay under their legal makeup but would definitely open the NFL up to civil lawsuits over rigging the games and affecting bets.

I wanted to mention it because I think it’s the best argument against those (of us) concerned that some unnamed players (rhymes with ‘catacombs’) have been receiving helpful calls all season. It IS possible the NFL is just trying to take extra-special care of their extra-special star. They didn’t used to do that. Quarterbacks used to be football players, too.

The day his tariffs were supposed to take effect with Mexico, he lied and said they had reached an agreement. Mexico’s President has already explained to him that fentanyl is brought in by Americans and that they have ALREADY initiated a program to re-direct undocumented people. (You haven’t heard about any “caravans” for a while.) She also made clear that the Mexicans have a hard time stopping the drug trade because of how easy it is for the cartels to buy American guns. The Mexican President explained it to him right after his initial threats of tariffs. He knew all this from the start. He just wanted to look tough for the deceived.

The White House said Canada ‘misunderstood’ Trump’s trade war as, well, a trade war. I think 47 ‘misunderstands’ that words have meanings. Canadian stores are pulling American made products – even AFTER the tariffs were put on “pause.” The pause happened, incredibly, because Canada reiterated some of the things they were already doing anyway.

Hey, just as a sidebar, weren’t all these punishing tariffs supposed to pay for the massive tax cuts the GOP is planning to give the richest Americans? NOW how is he going to pay for those? I mean, he wouldn’t cut services to needy Americans just because he and his disgustingly rich cronies want even MORE money, would he? Would he?

Wow, the Democrats are responding to all of this traitorous insanity with, wait… (checks notes) some VERY fiery words. Ooh. President Musk charged in and shut down USAID. Jamie Raskin “handled” it. “We are not going to allow this to happen,” he said, “This will not stand.” Oh, but he wasn’t finished. He kept going, “Elon Musk, you may have illegally seized power over the financial payments systems of the treasury but you don’t control the money of the American people. The US Congress does under Article 1 of the Constitution.” THAT showed Musk. But Raskin STILL wasn’t finished, “We don’t have a fourth branch of government called ‘Elon Musk.'” Ooh, sick burn.

After THAT kind of tough talk, Muck, of course, apologized and left, realizing he had been outplayed. Or not. In REAL life, USAID is shut down. (Apparently, he DOES “control the money of the American people.” He has your Social Security Number, too.) In fact, a group of congressional Democrats from the House and the Senate were denied entry to the treasury building when they went down there to talk to the DOGE traitors – so they held a rally outside. Cons are acting, Dems are talking. You know? It’s only been two weeks, but I’m starting to think the Dems talking points aren’t having much effect.

In truth, I’ve long held that it’s the Democrat’s job to lose. They pretend to put up some kind of a fight, but they lose. It’s a facade. It’s meant to LOOK like there are two parties and they are in opposition. It’s even possible they’re beginning to realize the facade is failing, though. Democratic Senator Brian Schatz said he was “putting a hold” on all of the Felon’s State Department nominees until USAID is restored. To be clear, that won’t STOP the nominees. It just slows them down, a bit, so it’s basically nothing more than a show.

The two parties, though? The GOP is the “Assholes who support the One Percent” group and the Dems are the “Empathetics who support the One Percent” group. But either way, they’re ALL supporting the One Percent.

Work-a-day Americans have NO representation in American government anymore, and we haven’t since the Roberts Supremely Corrupt Kangaroo Court issued their ruinous Citizens United ruling…

I know this is a nothing-burger. I KNOW it. Still, I just wanted to point it out, even though I suspect YOU know it, too. A reporter asked 47 what would happen if Iran assassinated him. He looked a little surprised, then talked tough. “They would be obliterated. That would be the end. I’ve left instructions.”

He hadn’t “left instructions.” The thought never crossed his mind until he was asked. He just talked tough and pitched out a threat. I think the reason it caught my ear is, that’s his way. He just makes things up in the moment and then pretends they’re true and have always been true.

That’s just a stupid person trying to cover up the fact that they’re stupid. We’ve all known someone like that. But THIS stupid person acts on his random thoughts and that’s very dangerous to everyone else…

If you’re an American, someone who loved this country, read it and weep. If you’re MAGA, you’ll read it and likely rub one out – but this didn’t end well for anybody…

“Gleichschaltung was the process of the Nazi Party taking control over all aspects of Germany. It is otherwise known as coordination or Nazification. The process primarily took place between 1933-1934.

The Nazi’s started with the Civil Service , issuing the Act for the Restoration of the Professional Civil Service on the 7 April 1933. This act legalised removing anyone of non-Ayran descent from the civil service.

In the judicial system specifically, this act removed any judges that were deemed non-compliant with Nazi laws or principles. This act was reinforced by the German Civil Service code of 26 January 1937, which retired any judges or judicial official who would not intervene in cases and rule in favour of the Nazis. The People’s Court, a court created by the Nazis in April 1934 with judges chosen specifically for their Nazi beliefs, replaced the Supreme Court. With these measures in place, the Nazification of the judicial system was complete.

Gleichschaltung was applied across every possible aspect of government policy.

To take control of cultural policy, the Nazis appointed Joseph Goebbels as Minister for Public Engagement and Propaganda on the 13 March 1933. Goebbels became responsible for controlling the national media, film, theatre, arts, and other cultural aspects. Goebbels soon radicalised each of these areas, ensuring that they advocated Nazi ideas.

Pain For Thee, Not For Me…

President Musk started it. He said that in order to get the national debt under control, people are going to have to go through some “hardship.” He KNOWS aggressive cuts to government spending are going to cause pain and suffering. He acknowledges the fact. His attitude? “Tough cookies.” It’s easy for him, of course. As the sometimes richest thief in the world, HE won’t feel a thing. Not even a twitch.

Sub-President Trump – the man being told what to do by Musk and The Heritage Foundation – has now endorsed that same idea. The work-a-day Joes are just going to have to feel some pain to get things back to right. Of course, sub-president 47 has a couple of coins to rub together, too. He won’t feel anything, either. No, all this ‘hardship’ is meant for the working class.

The LLC – that’s the “Lazy Leisure Class” – started buying tax shifts 40+ years ago. I call them tax shifts, not cuts, because whenever they pass a so-called “cut,” some of the lost revenue gets shifted to the working class. The rest is managed by cuts in service. For 40+ years, the working class have been taking on more and more of the leisure class’s tax burdens and losing services in the process.

Two adages I live by: 1) When your outgo is greater than your income, your upkeep will be your downfall. 2) Government decisions should be focused on which option best serves the largest number of people.

We’ve just gone over the first one. Tax cuts for the wealthy have long-since reduced the nation’s revenues to the point where we can’t meet our obligations. (That’s been the goal, by the way.) They’ve trimmed around the edges as much as they could. Now it’s down to the meat and potatoes so “people will have to suffer.” But what about the second one?

Which option best serves the largest number of people? It’s simply not true that there is only ONE choice – only ONE option to deal with this mess the wealthy have created. There are two. Yes, when revenues fall short, one CAN cut costs. But it’s often true that one can ALSO increase revenues, and in THIS case, it’s absolutely true.

If we follow the path of the LLC, 340 MILLION people (minus a handful of the super rich) suffer. And I DO mean, “suffer.” On the other hand, we could raise revenue by increasing taxes on the highest incomes. Under THAT idea, NO ONE would “suffer.” Such an increase would only hit people who wouldn’t even miss whatever got paid out.

It’s important to remember, for the leisure class, this whole conversation is purely philosophical. It’s about the idea that they don’t WANT to pay their fair share. It’s not a burden. They wouldn’t even miss it. They just don’t want to. (Or, they think their awesome, regal selves shouldn’t HAVE to.) But for the working class, this is increasingly becoming existential.

I think option 2 – raise taxes on the highest incomes – best serves the largest number of people. Honestly? I think we should go back to a 94% rate on everything over $2.5 million dollars. That was the rate in 1944 and 45. (Technically, it was 94% on everything over $200,000. The $2.5 million is that amount adjusted to today’s dollars.) The justification? War is expensive – and it is. Since the US has become a State of perpetual war, we should just set that rate and leave it there.

SO… based on this reality – and it IS reality – it becomes obvious that NOBODY has to “suffer” or bear “hardships” or feel any “pain.” But I would bet the working class is going to feel pain. We’re a country of morons, governed by rich, greedy morons. EXPECT the wrong decision. EXPECT to suffer – so they don’t have to…

I’m not sure why this has to be said, but if you plan to bring a letter of reference to a job interview, perhaps don’t include references from people who have, themselves, been subject to scandal and/or discipline.

In an effort to lend credibility to the RFK, Jr nomination, a letter was presented to Congress, ostensibly from doctors, who think his moronic delusions about vaccinations and other things are just peachy, thank you very much. Except, they aren’t all doctors and many of those who are, um, actually WERE and those who STILL are have all faced disciplinary actions.

There may be a nicer way to say this, but it’s easy for morons to impress morons. “Doctors” who ignore valid science (I mean science supported by the scientific method, not someone’s “feels”) might well believe RFK, Jr is “on to something.” Most of us just think he’s ON something – and it isn’t something good. I suspect that worm ate more of his brain than he realizes, missing part of his brain and all.

Vaccinations save lives. Vaccinations do NOT cause autism. People who insist otherwise are expressing their luxury – the luxury of never having had to visit someone in an iron lung. Or even the luxury of not knowing what an effing iron lung is in the first place. You’ve been spared that knowledge by vaccinations. And now you want to despise the vaccinations that have done so much good for so many people? We heard it from Forrest Gump; stupid is as stupid does…

Um… you DO realize, don’t you, that the trade agreement 47 is citing as SO unfair to the US is the actual trade agreement 47 negotiated with Mexico and Canada during his first maladministration, right? Now he’s inflicting tariffs on our neighbors and allies – and, yes, China, too. I HAVE noticed the Chinese tariff is somewhat lower. Is that because China makes all that cheap crap he sells to his believers?

He says he’s doing it because of the trade deficit and fentanyl. According to experts (read: people who actually know what they’re talking about) most of the fentanyl brought into America is brought BY Americans. Not Mexicans. Not Canadians, eh? Americans. So, THAT excuse is clearly bunk.

If he wants American companies to come home, he should repeal all those glorious tax benefits rich people bought themselves TO move their manufacturing overseas in the first place. He doesn’t need tariffs.

I’ll tell you this: I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but there’s a common thread in ALL of our national financial “problems.” The already grotesquely rich want more – and cannot be satisfied…

Battling Leprechauns…

In order to deceive his base, The Felon attended a church service. (Be advised: it proves that the Anti-Christ CAN enter churches without bursting into flames…) Church services happen pretty early – especially for an alleged Adderall addict known to keep late nights, so he kept nodding off. The Bishop who gave the sermon, Marian Edgar Budde, wrapped it up by suggesting, gently, that he stay in touch with his claimed Christian faith and have mercy on the weak and the defenseless.

You could see the fury on his face. Hell, you could almost feel it. Like any child, he has difficulty sitting still and/or hiding his true emotions. Melania didn’t like it, either. Her eyes squeezed into even slitier slits. Oh, and MAGA is pissed off, too. How DARE that… woman suggest a Christian follow the teachings of Christ?

What, do you think she didn’t know what kind of reaction she might get? I thought it was a pretty brave thing to do, even though she DID have cover. CAN MAGA attack a Bishop for suggesting people follow the teaching of Christ? HELL YES, they can.

Jesus wouldn’t recognize their behavior, but Satan is laughing his ass off, thrilled by their support…

If you don’t LIKE that people know you’re aligned with people who throw Nazi salutes, maybe it makes MORE sense to separate yourself from the group that celebrates Nazi salutes rather than trying to convince the world around you it was just some kind of seizure…

Really, it’s gaslighting. I mean, the whole world knows what happened on January 6th, 2021. Even MAGA knows what happened, though they’ll lie about it. We all saw it – and MAGA was there. We all know The Felon instigated it. History WILL record that Donald Trump attempted an insurrection and sent his minions to carry it out – because that’s what happened. Even if MAGA re-writes it here, in this country, the rest of the world has already dutifully recorded his treason.

Telling me it was a “day of love” isn’t going to convince me it was a day of love. Showing me photos of empty corridors where the traitors were NOT, isn’t going to convince me there were no traitors elsewhere in the building at that time. Pretending there were a few “minor incidents” isn’t really going to minimize the violence that took place on that day at his behest.

The Felon is quoted as saying, “…they were protesting the vote and you should be allowed to protest the vote.” I’m guessing that if Americans tried to test that theory by, say, “protesting the vote” in that way, at HIS front door, he would have a very different attitude. We know from his first maladministration that he would run, terrified, to the Situation Room for protection.

But the gaslighting continues. It wasn’t what it was. You were seeing things. Up is down. White is black. No, there was no noise coming from the attic. (FYI: That last is a reference to the actual movie, ‘Gaslight.’) Frankly, it’s cowardice.

He sent his minions and they were only too happy – gleeful, even – to comply. Sure, they had anger and hatred on their faces and in their hearts but they were having a GREAT day. Smashing windows, beating cops, spraying bear spray all over the place, looking for a good place to lynch Mike Pence – what fun! And, of course, pure love.

So he released a few violent people and even a couple of killers. Hey, why not? We have a cover story, so it’s okay. The MAGA tale regarding J6 has not convinced me of anything. I doubt it has convinced any other rational person of anything. It HAS shown me that MAGA is afraid to take responsibility for their actions and is afraid to own that day for what it was.

Trump pretended foreign countries were sending killers into America and now TRUMP has sent killers into America. You can TRY to gaslight me, but I know what happened…

Those LA fires are going to highlight the housing crisis again. I read an article in ‘The Guardian’ that said people are renting (luxury) apartments for $20,000 dollars a month. Burning down the available housing isn’t going to help that situation in any way.

But now that we have a corporate king running the show, nobody is ever going to do the ONE thing that MUST be done to alleviate the housing crisis, block Wall Street from buying single family homes. “No, sorry, there’s no place for you to live. Oh, hey, but you CAN rent an AirBnB if you’d like…”

Since nobody is going to stop it, the problem is going to get worse. Historically, lack of housing was one of the key instigators of the French Revolution and ‘The Terror.’ I’m feeling like the Fates have grabbed a couple of nasty key moments in history (The French Revolution and the rise of the Nazis), rolled them into a ball, and tossed them out over the United States to be lived again.

Hey, have prices started coming down yet? He promised. He said on Day One! This is Day Four. By now, prices should be so low, companies should be giving their stuff away, right? No, huh? So far, it seems the only thing dropping is a new group of excuses. Why, it’s almost as if he never intended to lower prices on Day One…

I once became aware of a man who spent much of his time battling Leprechauns. (This is a true story. He was the next-door neighbor of my cousins.) He had painted ‘Leprechauns go home’ on his roof and regularly invaded my cousin’s peace acting against the Leprechauns. One of his actions nearly decapitated my cousin. I mean, he REALLY believed those Leprechauns were attacking – and he was up for the battle.

In what we could pretend might be completely unrelated, The Felon wanted to politicize natural disasters, so he made up a story about how FEMA (read: Leprechaun) is not helping after a hurricane and that they were actually just getting in the way. The key point here? He made that story up in his own twisted, little mind. It was pure fiction. But now he actually wants to take actual action against FEMA because of his delusions.

It’s sad – and it can be dangerous – when a demented mind goes to battle against Leprechauns…
