Epstein Really Won’t Die…

Well, it just keeps getting weirder, doesn’t it? Look, it makes sense to me that if one is part of a shady group that traffics in, or benefits from, underage women forced into prostitution, there might be some private, inside jokes, doesn’t it? Here’s one the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) is attributing to our inglorious misleader, the Drumpfster:

According to the WSJ, Donny was asked by Epstein’s girlfriend and co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell, to submit a letter to a collection from Epstein’s friends. She put them into a leather bound volume. Nice gift, really, if only the topic was less sordid. The page from Donny to Epstein was said to include a drawing of a nude woman and “a typewritten note said to be styled as an imaginary conversation between Trump and Epstein.

“Voice Over: There must be more to life than having everything,” the note reportedly began.
Donald: Yes, there is, but I won’t tell you what it is.
Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is.
Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.
Jeffrey: Yes, we do, come to think of it.
Donald: Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?
Jeffrey: As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you.
Donald: A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret.“

47 has filed a lawsuit against the WSJ. HE says he knows nothing about it. Of course, he also says he doesn’t know who appointed Jerome Powell Fed Chair. Spoilers: it was him. HE says he doesn’t know who negotiated the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). It was him. I must admit, I was surprised he filed. Now there can be depositions all around. Under oath. On the Epstein Affair.

Oh, yeah, the Epstein Affair. He found a new trick. He said he ordered Pam Bondi to release the transcripts of the Grand Jury testimony. She said she would – right after the judge gave the okay. Here’s the thing, the Grand Jury testimony is mostly about Epstein and Maxwell. It’s not about the rich and powerful people who were availing themselves of Epstein’s victims and continue to be protected by other rich and powerful people. Worse, Grand Jury testimony is commonly NOT released.

Every American wants to see the client list. Most MAGA want to see it, too. Epstein didn’t keep a client list? Maxwell did. Even if one didn’t use Maxwell’s little black book, the FBI could MAKE the list based on the DVDs that were found at Epstein’s properties during the FBI raid. We don’t need to see the videos. We don’t need to know the victim’s names. We want confirmation on who these men were – and we already know some of them.

Donald J. Trump, for example. We KNOW he was there many times. We KNOW he was very good friends with Epstein for years and years. We KNOW Donny knew what Epstein was about. It remains to be seen as to how MAGA will react to this latest trick. I suspect they’ll give him a little time, since he said he might release something. When he doesn’t? They’ll get irritated again, but then what?

One of the biggest faults I see in this whole play is this: MAGA has no where to go. Sure, they’re pissed off at Donny right now as they discover he’s every bit as “Deep State” as any other politician, but what are they going to do, vote AOC? And just to be sure MAGA has no where to go, I’m sure the Democrats are out there, beating the bushes looking for their next sure-fire candidate – a black, trans, half Jewish, half Muslim woman who espouses abortions for all and a complete open border…

I’ve heard some grumbling about how Deep State Donny is cowing the media with threats and lawsuits. What I’m watching feels more like the Capitalist-owned, corporate media is willingly standing down. I suspect that the ‘Capitalist-owned, corporate media’ part is the reason. The latest co-conspirator? CBS. 47 filed a lawsuit against them, whining that ’60 minutes’ had edited an interview with Kamala Harris that made 47 look bad. CBS doesn’t need to do that. He makes himself look bad by the minute. But that was his claim and he sued for $20 billion dollars.

Everybody knew CBS was going to win in a walk. Everybody knew CBS had only engaged in standard practices, made no effort to distort the interview, made no effort to smear 47 and would easily win their case – so CBS settled. They gave him $16 million dollars. Oh, AND they canceled ‘The Late Show’ with Stephen Colbert. In fairness CBS doesn’t deserve, Colbert DID call the $16 million dollar bribe payment a $16 million dollar bribe payment.

CBS said it was a “financial decision.” That’s a kind of truth, if you stand on your head and look at it just the right way. The Late Show is the late night ratings leader. Colbert is VERY popular. The show was making money. If the decision had anything to do with the show, itself, it was essentially killing a cash cow. Yes, that IS a “financial decision,” but it’s a very, very stupid one. Maybe there is some other financial consideration, yes?

See, CBS wants to merge with another company, Skydance, and they need FCC approval to do so. The FCC is ultimately controlled by – wait for it – Deep State Donny and he doesn’t LIKE Stephen Colbert. (He doesn’t like anybody smarter than him so, just about everybody.) The merger is worth billions to the execs at CBS. Since no big business he can interfere with gets done without getting Donny’s beak wet, the $16 million was a small price to pay. Firing Colbert was just the cherry on top.

Frankly, if I was Skydance, I’d be pissed off that Paramount just hurt the value of the deal by canceling one of the more popular shows on the network. But Donny’s a petulant child everyone has to placate, lest he wish them into the corn field, so Colbert had to go. There’s speculation ‘The Daily Show’ is next, since Donny doesn’t like Jon Stewart, either.

I hope, after the revolution, that we, the people put some controls on the abuses of wealth. We had them once. The guardrails made America great in the first place. Let’s do that again…

They’re Here, They’re Gone, They’re Back…

Our story so far: the DOJ released a statement that declared there are no Epstein files and that the old pervert definitely killed himself. They released a video of some jail cells and they pretended it was “raw” footage of Epstein’s cell. It was supposed to prove nobody entered the cell the night Epstein died. But there was a minute missing. It was easy to see. The time-stamp jumped from 11:58:58 to midnight.

That got people who know about these things to start digging into the footage. It took them a very short time to discover the so-called “raw” footage had been manipulated – badly. They even know the software that was used to do it. THEN it turned out it wasn’t one bit, slightly altered. It’s two different videos spliced together. THEN it turned out, it wasn’t even showing Epstein’s cell.

There were definitely files on Jeffery Epstein, before there weren’t. 47 was definitely, positively going to release that list before he wasn’t. Then the list didn’t exist, but only for a short time. It’s back again but now was written by James Comey, Obama, Hillary, and maybe Biden. Epstein was arrested the second time on July 7, 2019. Donny was playing ‘President’ at the time. WHY would he ask Obama, Hillary, and maybe Biden to write the report? It wasn’t even their job. But, hey, the idea was floated. It sank.

So, when THAT didn’t discourage interest, Deep State Donny contacted some of the MAGA influencers, Charlie Kirk, for one, and got them to back off in hopes the base would back off. On Monday, Kirk declared he was “done talking about the Epstein files for now.” (Good dog.) The backlash he received from MAGA was so severe, by Tuesday he pretended he had only meant he was done talking about Epstein for that segment. (Ooh, bad dog…)

When that effort to manipulate them failed, Donny tried scolding his followers. That didn’t work, either. So now the files are back and they’re real, although we’re assured there’s nothing in them. As of Wednesday morning, to hear Deep State Donny tell it, he doesn’t know what’s in the files except for a quick brief from Bondi, but he ALSO knows they’re boring. Then the Drumpfster said he was going to leave it to Pam Bondi to decide if the files should be released.

Yes, this is the same Pam Bondi who assured everybody the Epstein list was on her desk waiting to be reviewed (because who wouldn’t take their sweet time looking at THAT list?) before assuring everyone there is no list, but when MAGA wasn’t having any of that, the list suddenly reappeared. On Tuesday, even MAGA Mike the Johnson called for the release of the files, and that dude goes to great lengths to avoid “release.”

Donny says anything “credible” should be released, but he has also taken to calling it a hoax. He says only “bad people” want to see those files. Well, color me bad, then. I’ve known speed freaks with more credible stories. I agree with Elon on this one, “He should just release the files and point out which part is the hoax.” I’m still not buying a rolling crematorium, though.

At one point, the Drumpfster tried calling the people who want to see the files “stupid.” When you think about it, they want to see the files because they believed him. If they react half as badly to him calling them stupid for believing him as they react when I say they’re stupid for believing him, he’s in trouble. He has also taken to calling them “weaklings.”

A reporter asked 47 if he would consider a Special Counsel to investigate the Epstein files. His answer? “I have nothing to do with it,” as he dashed for the door. He has tried name calling, lying, threatening, lying some more, insulting, a few more lies, and manipulating. That pretty much sums up his entire negotiating strategy. I think next, he holds his breath until he turns blue, which would be a welcome change from his usual orange.

I’ll tell you this: this cover-up is so…professional, except where it’s not. It’s completely convincing except where it isn’t. Maybe these guys are trying to prove they know what they’re doing by demonstrating what it would look like if they they didn’t – because it sure looks like they don’t…

GOP Priorities…

It kind of sums up GOP priorities, doesn’t it? The GOP in Texas keeps insisting that nothing could be done to warn people about the flood that was coming. They just didn’t have the needed tools in place. They’ve spent YEARS refusing to PUT the needed tools in place. Why? Well, that would be too expensive.

Apparently, they consider the deaths of over 100 people “less expensive.” THAT’S a loss they can absorb, the deaths of others. Just don’t try to touch their money. Yep, it sums up GOP priorities nicely…

It sounded like booing to me. The First Felon polluted the World Cup finals where he was roundly booed by the crowd. Several times, in fact. In fairness, he DID receive some salutes, but as far as I could see, they were of the one-finger variety. Some of his supporters, that is, people who back criminals, rapists, and alleged pedophiles, tried to pretend it was cheering. You can even hear some whistling as they tried to overpower the crowd – but it was a BIG crowd and, clearly, the vast majority really doesn’t like that guy, proving that most of America is still more decent than MAGA.

That didn’t stop him from crashing Chelsea’s trophy lift, though. He walked out onto the pitch with FIFA president Gianni Infantino to present the competition’s trophy, individual awards, and runners-up medals. When it came time to celebrate the win with a team photo, Infantino left the stage so the team could have their moment. 47 stayed. Infantino tried to get Donny to leave. He didn’t. He just stood there, grinning like the buffoon he is, not caring that he was crashing their big moment. The dude just ruins everything.

I wonder how much money American taxpayers shelled out for Donny and the rest of Team Evil to enjoy a luxury box at the World Cup. What, you thought HE paid for it?

Deep State Donny sure is making an effort to make the Epstein file scandal go away – and that’s saying something. That guy doesn’t make an effort at anything other than crime and/or golf – which I hear he plays badly so he cheats.

He’s the one who stoked the fire. He’s the one who rang the alarm bells. He’s the one who promised to release the files. But he’s also the one claiming they don’t exist. He’s also the one insisting people should just look at something else. He’s also the one saying the files that don’t exist were written by Obama, maybe Hillary.

It’s a kind of a-la-cart offering of lies for the cover-up. MAGA can find one they like and cling to it like a life preserver as they’re being swept away in a GOP-induced flood. Actual, legitimate journalists reported on the seizure of materials from Epstein’s various houses. We KNOW they exist. Ghislaine Maxwell’s little black book exists – or did.

Now there’s no “there” there? So why is Maxwell in prison? She was convicted of participating in a sex trafficking ring that never existed? (Spoiler alert, look for an impending pardon for her.) They’ve tried everything, man. Well, everything except releasing the files. Releasing the files is the ONLY way to prove there’s nothing in them, at this point.

Everyone remember – because Deep State Donny wants you to forget – the Epstein Files are real. They exist, or they did. They implicate a large number of very powerful men – men for whom “party” is less important than privilege. Donny’s one of them, in my opinion. Why do I think so? Donny wouldn’t lift a finger to help someone else if he didn’t benefit as well. He doesn’t give two figs about anyone else – but he loves himself unconditionally. The ONLY person he’s trying to protect with all of this mendacious manipulation is himself…

The cons are holding hearings attempting to “prove” that Joe Biden didn’t know about the pardons he ordered. If Autopen signed them, that’s all the proof they need. In fact, they don’t really need ANY proof. They thought of a scheme and that’s good enough for them. It ‘s so easy for them to ignore that fact the Biden is on record, clearly saying he ordered the pardons. He DID use Autopen to sign them – because there were so many.

But the GOP is STILL working an angle that suggests that if Biden didn’t sign them, he didn’t know about them. Ergo, they’re invalid. This is “important” to the cons, you see, because they have some political harassment to engage in if they’re going to “get even” with Dems for prosecuting their favorite felon, and the pardons are really cramping their efforts.

I’m not aware of any provisions that allow for the revocation of a pardon once it has been accepted, so I’m not sure what they think they’re doing. Of course, the legal toadies of the most corrupt, most-high court might rule anything in this nightmare MAGAmerica, but in OG America, rescinding pardons that have been accepted wasn’t possible. They’ll spend millions of taxpayer dollars on this pageantry, though…

Sex, Lies, and Video…

It’s not very often one will find common ground between left and right, but the pervert Jeffery Epstein and his very good, allegedly pervert friend, Donald Trump, seem to be the great unifier. We ALL want to know what’s in the Epstein files. Maybe not for the same reason, but we all want to know. Donny said they would be released before backing off of that statement. Pam Bondi said she had the file on her desk being reviewed and it was just about to be released – then she claimed she meant something else and there IS no Epstein client list.

Whatever else may be true, Ghislaine Maxwell kept a binder, the so-called little black book of clients and contacts. Release that. That should be enough to give everyone the information they’re looking for. But, no. Suddenly, the Drumpfster has gone all “deep state” and is trying to cover up information. Worse, they’re lying about it – badly.

They released a video, supposedly untouched, of the surveillance camera keeping an eye on Epstein’s cell. In the bumbled cover-up, the video includes a segment in which the timestamp in the bottom left corner jumps from 11:58:58 to 12 midnight. It just…skips a minute. No good explanation for how that minute disappeared. We were told it was just the system resetting itself. We were told it does that every night at the same time. We were NOT shown any other videos that might support the seemingly fraudulent claim.

NOW, people who know about such things are saying the video was heavily doctored. They even know which editing tool was likely used as the thing was edited and saved “multiple times.” From ‘Wired:’ “The file appears to have been assembled from at least two source clips, saved multiple times, exported, and then uploaded to the DOJ’s website, where it was presented as “raw” footage.”

There are a LOT of accusations against 47 out there. I can’t say which might be true and which are not but there are a LOT of them and we all know the adage, ‘where there’s smoke, there’s fire.’ What we DO know is that Donny is not playing this straight. ‘Deep State Donny’ strikes again…

Well, we seem to be moving into the next level of violence at this point. I’ll give him this, 47 seems to be moving at a very fast pace. Violence is on the table far sooner than I expected. In fairness, I’m sure the guy who allegedly shot at cowardly ICE agents raiding a farm provided the excuse the regime was looking for.

So, now the Felon has posted on his social media website, “I am giving Total Authorization for Ice to protect itself, just like they protect the Public.” Like so many of the word salads that spew from his lips, I don’t know what he means. These face-covered cowards are NOT protecting the public in any way, shape, or form. Does that mean they don’t have any authorization to protect themselves, either?

Of course not. They’ll come in even heavier-handed. Their “agent” cosplay STILL creates the problem of not knowing if one is dealing with actual cops or some bad guy posing as cops. Generally speaking, people have a right to defend themselves. So, if people start to defend themselves against the “maybe cops,” and the cops start “defending” themselves from their victims? Well, let the shooting begin, I guess…

Listen, if ICE is going after criminals and rapists, I have a tip: there’s one currently living at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington DC. He’s old. He’s fat. He’s often orange. You can’t miss him. Oh, AND he’s an anchor baby. His mother was born in Scotland and immigrated to the US at age 18. He sometimes hides out at his lair in Florida, called Mar-a-Lardo.

He was best friends with a known pedophile for more than 15 years. He’s KNOWN to have been convicted in a real court of law for 34 felonies and he has been shown in another court that sexual assault is a thing he likes to do. That’s a REAL threat to US citizens, not some guy picking lettuce in Southern California. C’mon, ICE, do your job. Deport him. Now. Make America Safe Again…

The Drumpfster doesn’t like Rosie O’Donnell and he hasn’t liked her for a long time. He knows she’s smarter than him and he doesn’t like that at all. From what I can see, she doesn’t much care for him, either. O’Donnell moved her family to Ireland in order to get away from the chaos that IS this moronic regime. She said some minor critical thing about him at the time and he handled it with the same grace and maturity with which he handles everything else: he threw a tantrum.

Now he says he’s looking at “revoking” O’Donnell’s citizenship. Rosie O’Donnell was born in Commack, New York. You know, in the USA. He posted: “Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship.” I’ve got to tell you, I’m not even sure what ‘Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country’ even means, but it seems to mean he knows she doesn’t like him.

In response, O’Donnell said 47 “has always hated the fact that i see him for who he is – a criminal con man sexual abusing liar out to harm our nation to serve himself.” She added, “he is a dangerous old soulless man with dementia who lacks empathy compassion and basic humanity…”

Don’t sugar coat it like that, Rosie. Tell us how you really feel…

Have you seen Whiskey Pete’s official announcement that the US is going to build more drones? It looks like one of those monster truck show advertisements: “SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!” complete with Metallica playing in the background. Drones flying all around him, he steadily walks forward while talking tough about things he doesn’t understand. At one very dramatic point, he reaches up and takes a piece of paper from a drone, the order he’s planning to sign.

I guess it was supposed to look inspirational. Really, it just looked stupid and overdone. But then, what about this regime doesn’t look stupid and overdone?

To hear them tell it, Republicans sure would like to know who passed that damned Big Beautiful Bill. None of them seem to know what was in it and the more they find out, the less they like. None of them seem to have read it. None of them seem to know who added what, and NONE of them seem to know why they voted for it. It’s all just a mystery…

Despite the way people from south of our border are being treated – that is, VERY badly – when GOP-induced disaster hit Texas in the form of floods, Mexico sent rescuers to help. They’ve set aside the terrible, inhuman treatment and sent help. Generally speaking, Mexicans seem to be better people than MAGA. No wonder MAGA hates them so much.

Meanwhile, Team Evil sent help, too – the very next three days later! Kristi Noem had to sign off on the expense as it was expected to exceed the allotted $100,000 and she wasn’t to be bothered during her three-day weekend. Once she DID sign off, though, FEMA – or what’s left of it – sprang into action the best he could…

Grok. What a crock. Grok is Elon’s AI. Apparently, in the billionaire set, you’re nothing if you don’t have your own AI. In Elon’s case, he’s nothing anyway, but he has his own AI. He said he wanted his to be free of all that woke nonsense so he had the programming altered to take out any reference to DEIA and other woke silliness. The result? Nazi/MAGA!

Grok told one user how to break into someone else’s home. Grok explained how to rape a woman. Grok started calling itself MechaHitler and spewing anti-Semitic tropes. It calls for harsh, over the top punishments for small infractions. It became, in essence, a Nazi. It was a rather perfect, accidental experiment. We get to see how AI responds to a lack of empathy: Nazi.

Interestingly, we’ve seen how MAGA responds to a lack of empathy as well, empathy having been removed from MAGA thinking by decades of MAGA media conditioning. Nazi! Or the next best, um, worst, thing – MAGA! MAGA doesn’t like being compared to the Nazis and I don’t blame them but if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck and Sieg Heils like a fucking duck, it’s very clearly a Nazi duck.

Dear MAGA, if you don’t want to be compared to Nazis, stop acting like Nazis. It’s pretty simple, really…

To tell you the truth, I feel kind of badly for MAGA when it comes to the Epstein files. They’re STILL going to defend him, obviously. But now? Now they know – they KNOW – they’re very likely defending a pedophile. No, they won’t say so to you, but they know it.

They’ve defended his lying mouth, speaking blasphemies. They’ve defended him as a convicted felon. They’ve defended him as an adjudicated rapist. They’ve defended him as an overt racist, and now? NOW they get to defend him as a pedo. He sure does make it hard for them to love him. Somehow, though, like any abused spouse, I suspect they’ll manage…

Did you SEE that disgusting scene in which Netanyahu gave The First Felon a copy of a letter he had sent to the Nobel committee nominating 47 for the Nobel Peace Prize? A war criminal, actively involved in attempted genocide, nominated his co-conspirator, the guy who enables the whole thing by sending more and more weapons, for the Nobel Peace Prize? Priceless.

Next thing you know, Donny will be threatening to bomb the Nobel committee into compliance. That ought to do it…

No, wait… that can’t be right. MAGA hasn’t issued uniforms yet. Let me check my notes. Oh, right, that’s Heinrich Himmler, Hitler’s evil advisor. Sorry for the confusion. It’s funny, when I look at Stephen Miller, I always see Heinrich Himmler. I mean, look at these two, side by side:

Except for the hairline, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, mustache, general head shape, and glasses, these two could be the same guy. I mean, EVERY time I see Miller, I see Himmler. It must be the evil aura they exude. Both are/were 5 feet 9 inches short and both weigh/weighed around 150 pounds. Maybe that’s it. Little, evil weasels, intent on “getting even” with their high school bullies by attacking people who had nothing to do with it.

Anyway, MAGA is SO PROUD of their Alligator Alcatraz, a place where they can punish and torture people who haven’t done anything wrong, but were born the wrong color. I’m SURE I’ve heard about that before, in history. It just seems so… familiar to me. Where have I heard of that before, throwing human beings into prison camps based on their ethnicity with no access to lawyers or due process? Give me a minute. It’ll come to me.

Cover-Ups…

Oh. Okay. Well, that’s that, then, eh? Um… no. I don’t believe there is no Epstein client list. Do you? There has been an Epstein client list since Epstein was arrested. THIS regime kept promising to release it just as soon as they finished their review. WE just weren’t allowed to see it. Why? Because so many people on there, allegedly including 47, were rich and powerful. If you will recall, at the time the FBI searched Epstein’s place, they found stacks of secretly recorded DVD’s, each dated and labeled with a man’s name and the underage woman he was with.

Even if Epstein himself never made a list, the FBI did. Oh, and we can’t forget, Ghislaine Maxwell kept a “little black book.” Everybody knows Donny and Epstein were very good friends for around 15 years. Apparently, they had some things in common, like women, some of whom, according to the Drumpfster, “were on the younger side.”

In a recent dust-up, Elon Musk claimed Donny IS in the Epstein files, bringing the whole thing back into public prominence. So, we know what Epstein did, we know Donny and Epstein were very close friends and we KNOW that Donny knew what Epstein was doing. Now, suddenly, there’s no list?

Sadly, it’s possible. It may have been destroyed, right along with all of the other evidence. Donny might think he “solved” the problem by destroying the evidence. In MY mind, I see the announcement as conscientiousness of guilt. This thing wasn’t going away. It keeps coming back from time to time. So? Destroy the evidence. At least there will be no convictions.

And then, his reaction when asked about it later. He’s trying to scold his way out of it. “Are you still talking about THAT?” He tried to hide behind the dead bodies of children who died in the flood and, yes, the children ARE more important – but most people can do more than one thing at a time. We can mourn the children and seek further clarification on the sudden disappearance of the Epstein client list – just as he was being pressured into releasing the thing.

I saw a meme. It read, ‘If I was the President and the entire world was calling me a pedophile, I would release every page of the Epstein files to prove I wasn’t in them… unless I was in them.’ But now I feel more strongly than ever, Donny WAS in those files. I suspect he had to destroy them in order to try to protect himself from things he’s done…

But it wasn’t easy.

People got in their way. People used bikes to build blockades. People jumped on (and rode) the hood of an ICE vehicle. None of the defenders threw punches that I saw but there was lots of pushing and shoving. There was LOTS of shouting. It was very loud. One mask on one New Gestapo agent slipped far enough that he might be identified.

I’m not sure why, when physical confrontations are taking place anyway, people don’t try to unmask the cowards. I’m STILL pissed off these guys wear masks. It’s not the American way, you know? Our cops are, by and large, brave. They enforce laws. They have no NEED to hide behind masks because they’re trying to do honorable and difficult work.

But these ICE Brownshirts? Hiding their identity is evidence they KNOW they’re violating the law. I know, I wrote “Brownshirts” but these guys aren’t really dressed like Hitler’s SA. They come in full riot gear – to arrest farm workers and hotel workers and restaurant staff. Who do they think they’re fighting?

I hope Tuesday’s San Francisco push-back stands as an example to the rest of the country. It was a hopeful event. I’ve been in despair that we, the people are just going to slide quietly into authoritarianism, but this interference gave me hope that it might not be so. We may still have a little revolutionary spirit in us, after all. I hope so.

Then I realized, I didn’t see much coverage on corporate news. Initially, I was surprised. It was a pretty direct confrontation. WHY wouldn’t the corporate news show it? Perhaps it’s those words, ‘corporate news.’ Perhaps the billionaire owners of the corporate news are happy about their shiny new tax breaks and prefer the nascent authoritarianism. Perhaps they prefer the image of Americans sliding quietly, acquiescing to the new status quo.

I guess 47 will be sending in more troops, taking them away from their homes and their regular jobs just to have them sit around in warehouses, like he did in Los Angeles…

That was at a Cabinet meeting, in public, for all the world to see. It’s the same Cabinet meeting I referenced earlier, where he blasted a reporter for asking about the Epstein files he’s allegedly in and responded by pretending he cares about the dead in Texas. THEN, after scolding the reporter for asking about the Epstein files because of the dead children, he went off on a tangent about interior design, speculating on whether the room’s moldings would look better with gold paint or gold leaf.

The GOP is holding hearings – at taxpayer expense – in an attempt to find out if Joe Biden has dementia, or did when he was President. Biden is out, but it seems to me there’s a current, sitting so-called President displaying signs of dementia more and more with each passing day. Maybe the GOP should “investigate” that…

DING! Round 2. Elon and Donny are back at each other’s throats. It’s kind of funny. Elon doesn’t like the Big Boneheaded Bill any more than anybody else. He’s losing a mandate that forces everyone to buy electric cars. From what I hear, he has some kind of interest in electric cars.

When the bro-spat first erupted, Elon ended up declaring that Donny is in the Epstein files. Then he realized he had gone too far and backed down. 47 doesn’t strike me as the ‘live and let live’ type. He seems more like the ‘wait until he’s not looking and then strike from behind’ type. But it had looked like things were going to calm down, a serious hit to all the popcorn I had laid in for the ‘Boneheaded Bros Battle Royale.’

Then the wasteful spending bill that does so much harm to so many moved through Congress even as Congress critters came out talking about how much they hated it and what a bad bill it is and what terrible, terrible human beings they are. I may have added that last one. They know it, they just don’t say it out loud.

As the thing was “mysteriously,” but successfully, moved through Congress by the GOP, and ONLY the GOP, even though GOP members couldn’t stand it, Elon came alive again and issued a warning that he would remove any Congress critter who voted for the Bill. He said he was going to start a new political party.

The evil and destructive bill is now an evil and destructive law and Elon declared he IS starting a new party, ‘The America Party.’ He says he wants to challenge the Democrat and Republican ‘Uniparty.’ If it’s anything like his cars or his rockets, I expect fire.

But Donny has suggested he might deport Musk. He also pointed out that maybe Musk’s old team of destruction, DOGE, should take a look at Musk’s contracts and subsidies. It’s curious, isn’t it, that they failed to do so the first time through?

Long term, I expect The First Felon to win this. Elon has lots of money but 47 has the power and rapidly squandering resources of the US government. But at least all of that popcorn isn’t going to waste…

“I want my vote back.” That’s a quote from a one-time supporter of Team Evil, a dude named Francisco Olivera. He’s a US citizen (condolences) but his wife is not. She’s Canadian. She was trying to get a Green Card. She was taken into custody by ICE AT a Green Card interview. She was in the country illegally, generally a civil violation BUT, she had been removed once and came back. Apparently, that’s a felony. Maybe she gets to be President now?

No, she’s being deported. For clarity, she had been navigating the system and had received permission to stay in the US pending her processing, so she had legal status at the time she was taken into custody, and there is no record of any other crimes. She and her Drumpfster supporting husband are really surprised and bummed out.

The woman, Cynthia Olivera, said from the detention facility while fighting back tears, “The only crime I committed is to love this country and to work hard and to provide for my kids.” Nope. You aligned yourself with Team Evil, a far worse crime…

‘Christian’ or ‘Nationalist?’ One Cannot Be Both…

Despite being the First Speaker of the Doctrine of Universal Harmony, I’m not much on theology. In my mind, “theology” and “wild guess” are interchangeable terms. Philosophy, though, is a different story. I very much appreciate philosophy and I have noticed that pretty much all religions center around people who have simply pulled together positive philosophies and tried to get people to understand and follow them. The philosophies, not the people. The people who insist they be followed, instead of the message, are usually cult leaders.

For reasons I can never understand, so-called Christian Nationalists are forever pushing to have a specific element of Jewish law placed in every classroom in the country. Forget separation of church and state, post some Jewish law in every classroom. My suspicion is that, AS Christian Nationalists, they’re far less “Christian” and far MORE “Nationalist,” so they don’t much care which part of the Bible gets posted, just so long as they’re being very publicly seen to be “Christian.” You know, -ish. “Christian-ish.”

If I were the teacher, which I’m not (you’re welcome), I would teach those Ten Commandments and I would take advantage of a walking, talking embodiment of how NOT to live them, Donald J. Trump. Here, I’ll show you.

  1. Thou shall have no other gods before me. (Exodus 20:3)
    First Felon 47 is forever saying that only HE can fix this or that. Oh, really? In so saying, he’s elevating himself above God. Only 47 can fix it? GOD can’t fix it? Only 47? His words, not mine…
  2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven images. (Exodus 20:4-6)
    Have you seen the golden statue of Donny that was floating around CPAC? There is at least one photograph of a man seeming to worship the image. How is that NOT a graven image? Just to be sure, though, in an AI generated vision of what Gaza could look like if only the Palestinians weren’t there, he included a golden statue of himself…
  3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. (Exodus 20:7)
    I’ve always held that taking the Lord’s name in vain is not cussing but, rather, using the name of God for your own purposes. Televangelists do it all the time. So does Donny.
  4. Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. (Exodus 20:8-11)
    On most any weekend, you’ll find Donny on a golf course, not in a church. He does nothing to keep the Sabbath holy. More, the use of the word ‘Sabbath’ indicates the Jewish nature of the Ten Commandments as ‘The Sabbath’ generally refers to the period from Friday evening when the Shabbat candles are lit, until Saturday evening…
  5. Honor your father and mother. (Exodus 20:12)
    This is a tough one. Did you hear about the time 47 tried to steal all of his father’s money? Dad got word of the scheme and put an end to it, but Donny tried, in earnest, to steal his parent’s money. On the one hand, stealing your parent’s money cannot be seen as honoring your parents. On the other hand, stealing from one’s parents is exactly the kind of person he was raised to be. In making the attempt, it could be said that Donny was “honoring” his parents, but the Doctrine of Universal Harmony holds that there IS no honorable way to commit a crime. Trying to steal their money dishonored them…
  6. Thou shalt not murder. (Exodus 20:13)
    Covid-19. Do I need to say more? His feckless, failed handling of the pandemic killed countless people and it all happened because he made choices. BAD choices. He made choices for political gain, knowing people would die. I call that murder…
  7. Thou shalt not commit adultery. (Exodus 20:14)
    The boy cheats on everyone. He cheated on his first wife, Ivana, with his second wife, Marla. He cheated on his second wife, Marla, with his third wife, Melania. He cheated on his third wife, Melania, with two other women that we know of, Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal. There are at least 17 other women who claim they had affairs with him, too…
  8. Thou shalt not steal. (Exodus 20:15)
    Generally speaking, my assessment of Donny is that if he’s awake, he’s stealing something but, in fairness, that’s just a general impression from loose talk. All other possible observations aside, 47 has been convicted in a court of law for stealing. 34 times…
  9. Thou shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. (Exodus 20:16)
    Bearing false witness is Bible talk for lying. This is a bit hyperbolic, but I believe Donny lies more than he tells the truth. I’m not sure when I last heard him utter a truthful word. Lies spew from his mouth so easily, it seems as easy for him as breathing. I think of Donny as the father of lies…
  10. Thou shall not covet your neighbor. (Exodus 20:17)
    47 proudly and publicly covets anything someone has that he wants. A great big airplane? He wants it. Oh, that guy gets military parades? I want a military parade! In stories, the best depiction of Donny is found in Veruca Salt, the greedy, covetous little girl from ‘Charlie and the Choclate Factory.’

Of course, it would be important to emphasize that the Ten Commandments are elements of Jewish law. I know Judaism was the basis of Christianity but Christ brought a new message, a message that was less eye-for-an-eye and more turn-the-other cheek. I prefer the Beatitudes, the teachings of Jesus to his apostles during the Sermon on the Mount. He started his sermon with them.

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the clean in heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Then, just to drive the point home, I would post Matthew 25:35-40, The Parable of the Sheep and Goats. You know the one. That’s the one where Jesus explains who gets into Heaven and who doesn’t, and why: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Today’s so-called ‘Christian Nationalists’ don’t even seem to know that part is in the Bible or they’ve chosen to ignore it as inconvenient. It certainly does NOT comport with their “Deport ’em all” attitude. Once the people who forced me to post the Ten Commandments learned I had posted MORE than that, I feel pretty certain I’d be forced to take down the Beatitudes and the Matthew 25 parable. They wouldn’t want the actual teachings of Jesus to interfere with their Christian pretense…

Republican Integrity? THAT Explains A Lot…

What, you thought something different might happen? The only way something different might have happened is if enough Republicans demonstrated integrity. But, ‘Republican integrity’ is mostly an oxymoron. You should have KNOWN the worst would happen when the only stopgap was ‘Republican integrity.’ Besides, of course Donny was going to win. Who can stop the Antichrist? He has been given dominion for 42 months. You thought you could change that by hoping?

“A mouth was given to him speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him.” (Revelations 13:5) That’s 3 years and 6 months. If we begin on January 20, 2025 – and we did, like it or not – it ends July 20, 2028. That date is an estimate, of course.

They had to give Lisa Murkowski of Alaska all kinds of exemptions to get her vote. Then, GOP members of the House withheld their vote on procedure in “protest” of the thing. The Felon made promises about using Executive Orders to “fix” bits the rank and file don’t like. They accepted a verbal promise from Donald Trump! When has anybody ever suffered from that? They think SO highly of their killer bill, they put off certain provisions until AFTER the mid-terms, believing that they’ll face backlash and fury at the ballot box if they don’t.

One thing is certain: since not one Democrat voted for it, this bill, now law, belongs entirely to the Republicans. Maybe that’s a good thing for them. Maybe the law will do all the things they promised and make America great again, despite the fact that even THEY think this new law stinks. If it does, they get all the glory. They were the visionaries and Democrats were the fools. But they DID go to an awful lot of trouble to delay the evil effects of their handiwork as long as they could. That says something.

From an article in the Guardian called “Trump’s Medicaid Cuts Are Coming To Rural Americans: ‘It’s Going To Have To Hit Them first:'” “Congressional Republicans in favor of the bill argue it targets “waste, fraud and abuse.” However, it is already well-known that most Medicaid beneficiaries who can work do, and that Medicaid is one of the most cost-efficient health programs in the US, according to the American Hospital Association.”

So, really, the GOP is just cutting off health insurance to vulnerable Americans – blue AND red – just to give tax breaks to rich people. And, yes, the lower classes get tax breaks, too. They’re much smaller, they mostly expire, and the lower down the economic class you go, the more their cost of living is going to increase. Whatever pittance they see in tax cuts will be far more than offset by the increase.

The image I walk away with? They’re so effing giddy. I know MAGA rank and file have been mislead on this thing. At this point, they think this has all just been an exercise in fiscal prudence. But the MAGA at the top are NOT the MAGA best described as “poorly educated.” The MAGA at the top know exactly what damage they’re doing to so many people – and they’re happy. They’re celebrating. Donny described it as “the best two weeks.” He bombed Iran and damaged the lives of millions of Americans. HE is having “the best two weeks.”

MAGA media had better start right now, ripping Joe Biden over this terrible bill and expressing their outrage that the Democrats might do such a thing. I mean, when the chickens come home to roost, we ALL know that’s the play. Rip Joe Biden for it and blame the Democrats. All of MAGA, celebrating their great success today, will, nevertheless, eventually know this was a terrible thing Joe Biden did, just terrible…

Remember, the team that told you this new law will be great for everybody ALSO told you climate change is fake news. Officials are currently looking for bodies from unexpected amounts of rainfall that caused flash floods in Texas. The Guadeloupe River rose 26ft in just 45 minutes. Nobody saw it coming, even though the region is used to flooding. This flooding struck before dawn. For some reason, the most current weather forecast didn’t say anything.

Oh, by the way and perhaps apropos of nothing, you DO recall that an effect of the DOGE cuts to the National Weather Service (NWS) was to cut off local nighttime forecasting, right? Money they needed got called “waste” and was cut off. The NWS had to cut somewhere.

You know the saying, “just because you don’t believe in climate change, doesn’t mean climate change doesn’t believe in you…”

Hey, isn’t he ALSO the person who said, repeatedly, that he would end Russia’s war on Ukraine in one day? He said it would be so easy, he would get it done before the inauguration, right? The inauguration was a little over five months ago (and he’s already done SO MUCH damage). Russia’s war rages on and Putin intends to KEEP it going. Now 47 is said to be disappointed in Putin. Aren’t we all? But perhaps the Felon should have spoken with Putin before promising he would end the war in one day. He might have known that wars don’t end just because some blowhard says, “Look, you son-of-a-bitch…”

Damage Being Done…

So…the next time you’re wondering why your favorite MAGA doesn’t seem to care that nearly 12 million people are expected to lose their health care as a direct result of Donny’s Devastating Bill, bear in mind – they don’t know it. According to Ground News, MAGA media isn’t telling them about it at all. They’re just…not mentioning it. If it DOES get mentioned, claims always insist the GOP is just cutting fraud, waste, and abuse.

THAT, to me, is the reason thinking Americans should stay in contact with MAGA. And we shouldn’t be smug. If American media can simply black out such important information on their side of the dial, what important information is being blacked out on OUR side of the dial? It’s a fair question.

I HAVE seen polls showing that approval for the devastating bill is around 20% on the right. MAGA always makes up a solid 30% and sometimes reaches as high as 34%. If approval is as low as 20%, even MAGA (those who know) disapprove of this thing.

So, how bad IS this bill? Lisa Murkowski voted for it, just as I predicted. BUT, she first extracted what is essentially an exemption for her state for most of the most egregious elements. She voted that pain for others, but not her own. Nice morals, there, lady. Oh, AND the GOP has built in a delayed trigger for many of the more heinous aspects of the thing. Most of the worst of it gets pushed off until AFTER the mid-terms.

The GOP knows – they KNOW – this anti-American abomination is going to hurt so many people they wouldn’t stand a chance at the ballot box if the provisions kick in before the mid-terms so they pushed it. That leaves the Dems trying to pin future results to the GOP with estimates and projections. The GOP has only to claim the Dems are Chicken Little and assure their base the sky isn’t falling. Then the “election” takes place. THEN, the sky falls.

MAGA media is surely ramping up a “Biden did this” campaign to quell the anger generated in the red states as people – MAGA included – begin to lose health care insurance and food stamp aid and other forms of support so many are forced to rely upon here in the Richest Nation on Earth™. (It turns out, we only have that title because we have the richest rich people. Take THEM out of the equation and the American standard of living is nowhere near the highest on the planet. In fact, we hover near the bottom of developed nations.)

I’ve also seen a quote from Marjorie Taylor Greene saying this is “not a House bill, it’s not a Senate bill, it’s the American people’s bill.” Uh-huh. This is the GOP’s bill. The Democrats don’t want it. The majority of the American people don’t want it. Many MAGA don’t want it. It seems like none of the GOP members want it. They’ll VOTE for it, but they don’t want to. The GOP is going to pass this thing and then spend the next year and a half trying to convince voters it wasn’t them.

Especially since it appears nobody knows what’s actually in this thing. I keep hearing reports from various GOP members – AFTER they provide their yes vote – that they didn’t know this or that provision was even in there. “Oh, if I had known THAT was in there I would have…” Yeah, voted for it. Just like you were told to. It’s cute, you acting like you have a spine but we all see you doing exactly as you’re told and ONLY as you’re told. I swear to God, I’ve never seen a more compliant group of toadies in my life.

I DO like the fact that this abomination passed the Senate 51-50. (JD Vance had to cast the tie-breaking vote.) In California, 5150 is code talk for a crazy person and this bill certainly IS insanity. Now it is back in the House where they’re trying like hell to pass the thing, even though many Republicans in Congress don’t seem to want to. They had a procedural vote, usually normal stuff. It should have been a quick vote and move on – but it wasn’t. The GOP had to find some way to bribe or threaten those members so they would vote the “right way.”

Which is the point, of course. These are not true holdouts. They’re negotiating. They want a little extra for themselves. In the end, the GOP – and I mean, the GOP alone – will pass this thing. there will be no help from the Democrats. This is a classic one-party vote of a one-party government. Remember when cons called that a bad thing?

The conservatives I talk to all say the same thing: they’re just cutting fraud, waste, and abuse and the final law won’t hurt anybody. Literally everyone else says otherwise. I tend to disregard the input of those who stand to benefit directly from their own actions. I tend to listen to people who are more objective and the more objective crowd has nothing but concerns about the damage being done…
