The other day, I saw a clip of President Pedo pointing out that he knew where all the steps to the stage were. “There are some over there, there’s a ramp I could use, there are more steps there.” Then he suggested that Biden wouldn’t be able to find the steps. Wow, I guess 47 IS a “jenius.” That seemed a strange thing to fixate on, even for a demented old guy like trump.

Then I read an article that pointed out that he had missed his exit at a Nebraska rally. He was supposed to pass through a curtain which was being held open for him. He walked past the opening and finally made his own exit at the end of the curtain. Having been caught not being able to find his exit, he made up stories about how Biden “probably” wouldn’t have been able to find his exit, either.

This was the same speech in which he referred to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as Jim Walz. He also called Teletrons, the large screens one sees in football stadiums as ‘telerons,’ which are not a thing. Then he claimed that “record numbers of barrels” are moving through the Strait of Hormuz. This while the economy is crashing over the high cost of oil due to his moronic war and the noticeable lack of ships moving through the strait.

THEN, he mentioned that the US lets other countries use US technology to shoot down missiles, but added, “You gotta be a little smart for that one. That’s not for bodybuilders.” Attacking all bodybuilders as “not smart” seems a little rough. I mean, sure, there are probably some not smart bodybuilders, but I’d bet most bodybuilders are smarter than he is. Not much of a bet nor challenge. Most rocks are smarter than he is.

This dude’s mind is going and it’s going fast. I know, many think it’s gone, already. He can still manage some things in a day, so I’m sticking with “going,” but that doesn’t make much difference. Going or gone, we shouldn’t have a demented moron running the show under any conditions…

Okay, I’ll say it again. Permanent Daylight Saving Time kills kids. No, I’m not making that up. No, it’s not a guess. The US ran this experiment in 1974. In the winter, when days are shortest, the sun wasn’t up after working hours anyway. But in the mornings? Hey, in the mornings kids are walking to school or a bus stop. Kids walking to schools or bus stops in the deep dark becomes something of a high risk operation. Several kids were killed by drivers that couldn’t see them in the darkness.

I don’t like changing the clocks twice a year any more than anybody else. It’s as dumb a thing as this dumb country has ever come up with. The only way to make it worse is to make Daylight Saving permanent. Make Standard Time permanent instead. We still get to stop changing clocks. Kids get to go to school with at least a little light. And, really, the days are so short, Daylight Saving isn’t adding much day at the end, if any. Dumping the twice a year changes is the right move. Leave it to Americans to make the right move in exactly the wrong way, though. When did we become a nation of morons? Inquiring minds want to know…

Lots of Republicans on the campaign trail are deferring when asked if they want 47 to infest their campaigns. “Should trump come?” “Uh, no, that’s okay. We’ve got this.” Many people have interpreted this as the Republicans finally realizing 47 is a weight around their necks and breaking with him. I don’t trust them, though.

Since it’s possible the cons are simply distancing themselves from the sexually abusive, warmonger-in-chief, but will embrace him again once they’re returned to their phony-baloney offices, I think I prefer caution. It’s possible they’re not breaking with him at all. It’s possible they know he’s just about as popular as herpes – and harder to get rid of – and it’s better for them to keep their distance during the campaign, fully expecting to grovel and toe the Donny line once they’re back in office.

From that point of view, it seems the best move is to stay away from Republicans completely. The only sure way to stop GOP groveling and support for incompetence, is to get the GOP out…

This is old news, but in our currently bloodthirsty society, it’s also every day. In 2023, a six year old boy stole a gun from his mother’s purse and shot his teacher with it. She’s fine. Hell, she’s better than fine. She received a $10 million dollar payout because she had told her principal (your principal is your pal!) the kid had a gun and the principal didn’t do anything about it until after she was shot.

Police have recently released body cam footage of the kid being taken into custody. Six years old, running a mouth like he has lived long and hard on the mean streets. “Fu*k y’all! Y’all want a piece of me, bitch?” was how he greeted the cops. Clearly, the kid did not have any good role models or perhaps any guidance of any kind. His mother was convicted of child neglect and weapons charges in 2023, after the event.

But the kid? According to the article, the child was not criminally charged due to his age. I know, he’s six years old. But from the brief clip, it seems this kid is already way wrong. It’s likely he’s a victim as much as a perp, but some damage can’t be fixed and this kid seems to fall into that category. Not only does he need to be incarcerated for the safety of society, he needs some serious therapy to try and put him back on a decent human track. I honestly hope he can be helped, though.

We don’t know the kid’s name because he’s so young, so the article only fully named several of his immediate family members. You know, to protect the kid’s identity. The cops know him, though, and I’d guess the cops are going to be dealing with that kid for a long, long time to come…
